Lovely large room modern room with balcony. Comfortable bed and good location if you have a car. Best restaurants nearby are Daniela’s in main san casciano and Nilos in Cetona. Montepulciano is only 45 min drive away.

Staff didn’t speak any English which is of course fine but were a little abrupt with us. I emailed them 2/3 times before arrival asking if they could make us a plate of cold cuts before arrival as we would be late arriving in Italy and they are a restaurant after all. They didn’t reply so we rang once in Italy to ask the same and just received a ‘no no not possible’. Note Restaurant isn’t open every night.

Good location clean and comfortable room good housekeeping. Warm and friendly welcome.

We chose this accommodation as it is just a few minutes to the Fondeverde Spa. Very impressed with accommodation, restaurant and cafe on site. The hosts were very accommodating and pleasant.

The wine

- they didn’t give us the right room. They forced us to share a room although we booked the 2 bed apartment and then insisted we should be happy they charged 40 eur less. Excuse me????!!! - the owner was as unpleasant as it gets. Almost rude repeating things to us in a bad tone as if we were stupid or couldn’t hear him. Of course, he didn’t speak a word of English so, either go there with a local or brush up your Italian! - the rest of the staff were equally unfriendly. I asked were the restroom was and she just pointed and continued walking without further acknowledgement of my persona. - The room has 1) skinny and tired towels that should have been removed years ago. 2) plastic glasses 3) no shower gel or shampoo 4) an unplugged empty fridge in a cupboard 5) not the cleanest toilet.
