Fantastic location with amazing views and a short walk to restaurant and bar options. The town itself is beautiful, historic and well worth a visit. I ate lunch at La Vinya just a short walk from the hotel and the food was superb. Breakfast here was basic tostadas, juice, yoghurt and coffees, the breakfast room is lovely, set into the stone walls and breakfast was 6 euros. The host is lovely. I had room 17 on the 3rd floor which is right by the street exit so a little noisy with people coming and going but with a good sized bathroom good water pressure and amazing view from the balcony and an armchair to enjoy the view. The parking isn't close and there are steep steps but if you can cope with the walk it is well worth it!

I would have liked there to be facility in the room to make coffee and some drinking water to be provided. I would stay here again and look forward to going back!

This hotel is beautiful and the hosts were exceptional, so helpful, and friendly. Clean tidy room with a comfortable bed.

The walk up to the hotel is a killer! so people with reduced mobility I wouldn´t recomend. But on the last day we did find steps down to the public free car park which did make the walk a lot quicker (would be the last day!) But the position does make the surroundings beautiful. And you can drive up to drop off your suitcases.

This is a real gem! The building is beautiful and its location perfect. The hosts are such a great helpful people. The view from my room was stunning, I could admire the sunrise each morning. Lovely restaurants near by, all the main historic buildings and Museum of Contemporary Art (a must visit) are just round the corner!

A bit more toiletries choice would be nice (there is only all in one gel), also a kettle would be so helpful! :)

The location was perfect, right below the castle and next to very good restaurants but still quiet and peaceful. The hotel was immaculate and the staff very helpful. They even brought breakfast to our room the evening before as we had an early start the next day.

Perhaps an English speaking receptionist would have helped but the staff were very attentive.

Superb central location in a fascinating hilltop town. Fantastic views. Excellent room: far better than 2* suggests. Good simple breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff , who even got my parking ticket cancelled. Great value for money.

Located within the area for locals only parking. You can drive up to unload and reload luggage, but not for longer as we discovered, but the hosts sorted that too!

Great room, absolutely lovely and welcoming hostess, delicious breakfast and breathtaking town and scenery. You get so much for the prize you pay. What else could you possibly ask for?

Lovely room with space to stretch out. A couple of restaurants and bars on the same street. Do visit the modern art Museum.

A friendly welcome and lovely room, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Combination of traditional and modern, all in excellent condition. It's a lovely hotel built into the rock in a stunning ancient town.

A beautiful Spanish hotel in the heart of Vilafames. We were offered a choice of rooms. Both were lovely. The host was extremely friendly & accomodating. Breakfast was delicious. Could not find fault with anything.

Situated in a fantastic old village, VERY beautiful building. Very friendly staff. Felt almost like ‘home’. Will surely come back!
