Clean and comfortable. Staff make the place, Diane Paul and Nico are fabulous. 10/10 and will never go anywhere else

I honestly wish they’d update the style of the rooms a little bit, but it has a homely feel so it’s not an issue

Everything we needed for a one night stay, very comfortable beds. Apartment was clean. Pool area wonderful!

The reviews which say the property is old-fashioned are correct - but it doesn't take away from the cleanliness or suitability of the rooms. Check-in area could be signposted better. Bathroom very small.

The overall experience was very poor at this hotel. From the point of checking in there was very rude and arrogant approach from a particular member of staff. We arrived a little early to check in and we were given directions to the bar as the point for reception. Once we took our belongings to the bar area for checking in, we were informed that our room would be ready in 10-15 minutes which seemed reasonable. We had to wait a total of 45 minutes before being provided keys to our room, had we have known from the beginning we would have likely used this time instead to grab something to drink or had some lunch. Although I would like to say this was as unfortunate as it gets at this hotel, this was not the end all. The man at reception, potentially the owner was extremely rude. He consistently spoke in an unnecessary loud and authoritarian tone to us and others around him including the staff and other guests. He demanded to see our “voucher” and when asked to elaborate and clarify he asked “do you know what a voucher is?!” His tone, attitude and rude manners were not down to his lack of being able to articulate himself in English as he had a fluent American accent. As it turned out he was requesting to see our email reservation/Booking detail. He continued to request information and instructed us of what to do in an almost military fashion during our 45 minute wait. In addition, he stated that in order to use the air conditioner within the hotel room we would have to pay an additional €15 per night. Not only is air conditioners listed as a available facility over the Booking.com system, it is laughably overpriced given the price point of the hotel itself. We were more than pleased when gor handed our room keys and able to make our way away from this arrogant and uncomfortable atmosphere. The rooms itself were not too bad, quite outdated decor but fairly okay (except for the €15 a night air conditioner).

Nothing.. I arrived at 2am. Key in door no fridge and no lights. Did not expect Aircon but some places do. Decided to go and stay elsewhere. AT 2AM. Places in pefkos are more accommodating. Went back in morning to explain situation. I was happy to stay for the rest of holiday if they reimburse 1 night. Told me booking.com had not paid them. Owner not there til 5.30. Went back at 5 and was physically threatened by owners son. Spoke to owner and was called Malaka. And asked to leave. Walked away with the son being held back. Really wish I had recorded it. Have been in pefkos 3 times a year for 20 years. Got married there. My late wife's ashes are at kavos bay. Lived there 2009. Never ever have I had an experience like that.
