This hotel really is a rare find. The room is spacious and comes with real wooden furniture and not the usual generic cardboard type. The food at breakfast tastes great - they even have real cheese instead of the usual plastic you get served at hotels. They don't have a coffee machine at breakfast - the waiter makes it for you. You can park in front of the hotel without an app. You don't have to look at a screen for relaxation you can take a walk through the hotel's garden or through a horse ranch right next door. Let's just say that we had a great stay at this hotel.

Our room didn't come with a refrigerator - some people still like their drinks chilled. These is this one thing though - because this hotel manages to do such a good job, you start to think about all the accommodations that can't do theirs.

A beautiful hotel, excellent facilities, breakfast was amazing! We also had an evening meal on one evening and I would highly recommend eating at the hotel. The beds and pillows were great, I never usually sleep in hotels but my three nights here were very restful!

The restaurant manager was a little abrupt, boarding on rude, all other staff were cheerful and extremely helpful. The hotel is in the countryside so you will need a car or be prepared to order a taxi. This wasn't a problem for us but if you are not prepared for this it will be a surprise.

The location is pristine and so calm. It is just outside of Munich and in a beautiful countryside. It is so easy to get to the city centre using the Park and Ride option (from Poing P+R there is a direct train). And the breakfast…the best i have ever had 😍

It is sooo nice and clean. Everything is just the way it has to be. The rooms are furnished with anything you need. Bathrooms are very nice and the beds are very comfortable.

Room was airy and nice in every way. No problem staying the entire family in one room with 2 spare beds. Comfortable beds, also the extra ones. Good location. Breakfast was nice, good assortment of fruit, good juices.

Restaurant was fairly pricey and not great. Kids would have lived pancakes, waffles or something like it for breakfast but that is really just a bonus, breakfast was great!

Good selection of food for breakfast, very attentive staff. We also ate lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant - both excellent. The hotel has also a lovely courtyard and a garden so plenty of space to enjoy it. The surrounding of the hotel is very quiet and lovely. We loved its convenient location 15min drive to Munich Messe.

Our room did not have direct access with a lift so if you have mobility issues it is better to specify that you want to be in the part of the hotel with the lift.

The staff is excellent, very helpful and very easy access to bus and train (40 min by train & bus from Munich center). Great breakfast and very cozy location. I very much enjoyed my stay!

the pillows were too soft for my taste but that is a personal perception, just a matter of taste

The room was very spacious, it fit our family of three perfectly. We traveled with a baby (3 months), this was a layover on our roadtrip, and the room was ready, crib was already set up and we still had lots of free space left for all of our baby stuff. Breakfast was amazing, they had everything from bircher muesli to 8(!) types of fresh fruits, breakfast rolls etc. Would def recommend!

Both breafast and dinner were delicious, the style of the whole hotel is also very interesting

The rooms are quite small, two mattresses instead of a single one in a lux apartment on a quiet average bad looks strange.

We consider that the accommodation had been underrated. The room that was allocated to us in the Herrenhaus was wonderful. It had recently renovated and the beds were very comfortable.. The owner and staff were very friendly. The food was excellent and not very expensive. Our dinner was particularly delicious. We will definitely return to the Gasthof.

However, our bed creaked, and the mattress was uncomfortable. We would have appreciated a more comfortable setup.
