Good location, although near central station it is pretty quiet. Room was a good size, large bed. Water provided daily. A small mini bar to keep your drinks cool.

No coffee maker in the room. No breakfast facility inside the hotel, but many options nearby. The room is a bit dated, it could use some refurbishment. The bathtub and the faucets are pretty old and they could use a shower cord in order to clean the bath tub properly after use.

Excellent location. Very comfortable room with excellent lighting, and sizable by NYC standards. Low-key and pleasant lobby.

Interior noise was excessive - both from neighboring room and from staff communicating via loud walkie-talkies.

The size of the room was very nice! It was spacious and clean. The location was also nice. It was in a central spot that made it easy to get to and from the tourist attractions around town.

Having to pay $50 for early check-in seems like a scam. The room was ready when we got there at 1. We had a suitcase that we didn’t want to wheel around the city, so we thought that was our only option. When we checked out, they offered to hold our luggage in case we wanted to explore the city some more. I would have loved that option the day prior, but instead they charged me $50 extra for a room that was already vacant.

Right near Grand Central so ideal for links to all the places we wanted. The room was a great size. Staff very attentive. Would definitely stay here again.

70 Park Avenue was pretty great to stay at. My daughter and I travel to the city at least once a year, and I’d absolutely stay here again. The staff were friendly and attentive in a genuine way. Like some others have said, it’s not the most updated hotel, but that’s not a big deal. The room was immaculate! I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels that seem to prioritize updates over cleanliness and it sucks. I was so impressed with how clean our room was. I also love that they provide robes, slippers, and large size toiletries. This makes packing light really easy. The soundproofing is super good for an NYC hotel and it’s literally a 5-minute walk to Grand Central.

The biggest downside was no working fan in the bathroom. It made getting ready a little annoying, but nothing major. I also couldn’t get my phone to cast to the tv so we were stuck with bad cable shows.

The location was great. No food, but plenty of restaurants around. Only 4 blocks from Grand Central Station and the subway line. The building was beautiful and well kept. Would definitely stay again.

Even something as small as an offering of tea and coffee would have been nice in the lobby. My particular room was small, but knowing how a lot of those older buildings were first built, it was okay. The bathroom was just the smallest part. It was hard to use the toilet, but this did not create an issue. Would stay again.

A very thought-out hotel. The concierge was very helpful with my luggage. Reception was friendly and allowed me to check-in early. My room was a corner unit and I enjoyed the views. Loved the old-school decor of room & bathroom. I enjoyed the bathroom products, luxurious. The gowns were also useful, kept me warm. The inclusion of a JBL Bluetooth speaker/clock/alarm was a nice feature for me. There's a smart samsung TV and I could connect/pair my samsung phone and watch my own YouTube/Netflix on the big screen. Very close to grand central so I could get to my activities. I spent 2-nights

I did find a hairstrand in the bathtub but didn't report this, i just removed it myself. I didn't make a big fuss about it. My AC was not heating up in the very cold April I stayed there but I called reception and they sent someone to fix it immediately.

I chose this hotel as it was the best deal I could find in Manhattan without having to share a bathroom or stay in a pod hotel. The hotel in general could use a refresh but it was perfectly suitable for our 3 night stay. The room itself was clean and comfortable enough for Manhattan standards. All in all I was happy with my experience but I may look elsewhere the next time I'm in Manhattan for work.

The sliding door for the bathroom doesn't offer a ton of privacy and ventilation could be improved. There were some weird sounds coming from outside our room (could have been a utility elevator come to think of it) but it didn't affect our sleep schedule

Fantastic staff- From start to finish the staff are Amazing. From the reception staff- Housekeeping- door staff and even the maintainence guys. Very professiional, warm, friendly, helpful and Common Sence in abundance! . Their Hospitality knowledge and experience is Exceptional .A lot of younger staff members in other 4*/5* hotels could learn a lot from these guys. Ok - so there wasnt tea/ coffee facilities in the room - but when i requested a kettle in order to make tea - they provided it straight away along with tea and cream - Thankyou for that :)

The location of 70 Park Avenue Hotel is amazing -- just moments away from Grand Central Station and within walking distance to plenty of fantastic restaurants. The room itself was clean and comfortable with an accessible bathroom. The staff was friendly and courteous, even offering complimentary water bottles for my return trip home.

Unfortunately, my air conditioning unit was not working. However, the staff quickly arranged the engineer to take a look. When he couldn't fit it, they provided me with a fan. While the mattress was comfortable, the bed itself was quite squeaky and the linens a bit scratchy.
