Beautiful room with a huge chimney right in the cliff town of Bagnioregio. There is a self check in which worked fine. I recommend to park down in the valley closest to the bridge to the cliff town though this parking is to pay (2 Euro each hour from 8.00). The price for the room is really a good deal. The bed is comfy as well. Also our room was warm now in October during the night. WiFi is okay and stabile.

Check out at 10.00 is early. The room maid was grumpy 😉 though she had some rough mountain charm. There are no plate, fork or knife in the whole house. Be aware that you have to walk 10 minutes to the accomodation and the last part is the mountain up. Do not take too much luggage!

Some few times the WiFi couldn’t work and since the is also zero signal in the village it was a bit difficult. But I think that’s a problem in general not theirs. The code for all the doors was the same, which didn’t felt very safe. But minor problems to a WONDERFUL ROOM AND LOCATION!

Located centrally, spacious room, very good shower, coffee station in the hallway.

Lack of kitchen/dining facilities (although they recommend bringing breakfast when off season, but then there's no place to heat anything). Lack of Air-conditioning, because of historic building but portable ac could be a solution, as a simple fan in the room,in the heat of italian summers, doesn't quite suffice. Not easy to find the main door, or to operate the room lock.

The location at the Piazza San Pietro was so convenient as it was right at the Civita entrance.The bed was comfortable and clean. The living room was cozy. And the view over the valley was amazing.

We travelled in July and the summer heat was very intense. The fan was too small and didn't help much to dissipate the hot air from the room. We perspired even with the tiny fan blowing directly at us. With a bigger fan or a wall mounted fan, it could have been more comfortable.

We could have a really thrilling experience to stay inside a really cozy tiny commune on the sand-rocks hilltop ! Dinner in a highly recommended ristorante was also very nice and memorable as the last night dinner in the Italy travel in this time ! Lightings backgrounded to us in the early morning (that we need checked ou t on 5:00AM to walk to specific parking lot and drive to Rome Fi Airport to board 10:40AM departure to Helsinki, FINLAND then to Incheon, KOREA.) was amazingly sunrise redish !

It's a once in a lifetime experience. Great stay in a medical town, accommodation is priced great with all facilities and as an engineer I appreciated the way the house is restored and functioning. Good internet, we were able to work here.

I could not reach the host on the day of the accommodation. He replied to the earlier messages helping us understand the process of ztl and parking. We actually wanted to extend our stay and couldn't connect. Also there was a very bad storm when we arrived. The roof was dripping a bit, something to fix in the long term.

Finding the parking spot was impossible. Not sure we ever found the spot described. We ended up paying 15 euros for a spot and hoped our car would be there upon our return. Very frustrating… The attention to detail wasn’t great. Original check in instructions didn’t have a working link., but owner promptly responded. WiFi name on card in room wasn’t accurate but able to figure it out.

Top location, very well decorated and equipped. We visited Civitta di Bagnoregio and decided to stay over night, so even if we were so close to the check in deadline, host was incredibly helpfull and understanding. Fast online check in, code provided for entering, all the details concerning parking at a great rate for the day given. Had a minor issue during our stay, but the host took care of it very kindly. Be pacient if you do not receive an answer ASAP, the internet coverage can be tricky.

It is impossible to list everything we loved about this property and Civita. We LOVED every moment. The location, design, ambience, character, smells. It was all perfection. The fireplace on the cold evening made the whole place just perfection. Note: In old historical towns such as this you need to park your car outside of the historical center so make sure you communicate with the owner about where and how to manage this before arrival.

The opening of the front door is done over the phone and the connection to internet is poor here so it can make the getting in a little bit tricky. I also wonder what would happen if you lost your phone.

Well renovated apartment in a Medieval palazzo in a remarkable little town like no other. We walked around the virtually empty village in the rain that night and truly felt transported to another time!
