The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. The room was large and was perfectly clean. Breakfast was included in the price and was generous, tasty and was ready on the expected time after I pre-ordered the night before. The hotel is at 10-15 minutes walk (5 minutes with Move or Taxi) from the KCC and the location is very safe to walk in even on the evening. I did not tried Lunch or Dinner, so can not comment about the food.

I had nothing to complain about. The staff are extremely polite and very helpful, making the guest's experience joyful.

I had the most amazing stay. I came off a long trip in Uganda so I was hoping to relax and this was the perfect place to do that in. I felt like I was in a spa! The food is exceptional as are the staff. The decor is tasteful, beautiful and elegant but comfortable. There is amazing art work all around the hotel. The rooms are a very good size with beautiful bathrooms. I cannot fault a single thing really. The restaurant/dining area is situated around a beautiful swimming pool. The whole ambience was just perfection.

Really searching for something here and its practically impossible. I will say that the sound of the neighboring air conditioner could be heard in my room.. at first I thought it was a hot tub turning off and then off but I think it was the A/C. It was actually the only slightly negative element to the stay but even that is reaching.. it did not impact my stay at all really, I just noticed it but coming from Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National park, I was used to silence at night so probably noticed it more.

This was the first hotel we stayed at in a 2 week holiday in Rwanda, and it set a standard that would be difficult to beat. We were really spoiled here. From the moment we arrived we were treated as welcome guests in a serene and beautiful home. The common areas are the real highlight, with the restaurant arranged around the pool, where you can sit and enjoy breakfast to the sounds of birdsong. So peaceful. Breakfast was served to order by the always considerate staff. The dining experience is top quality, and was enjoyed by residents and discerning non-residents alike. There is aircon and tv in the rooms.

Perhaps the rooms don't live up to the high standard set by the common areas, but our room was very comfortable and certainly one of the best we had in Rwanda. We learned elsewhere in Rwanda to order meals well in advance of arriving in the restaurant, and it might have helped here as well. The pool looks so clean and welcoming, but it is right next to the dining area, so self conscious swimmers might want to pick their moment.

It is hard to summarize everything I enjoyed about the hotel in just 2 or 3 sentences :) Upon arrival, we were greeted with one of the most delicious mango juices that I have ever tasted, along with smiles and hellos from all of the staff. THEN - I couldn't believe it - one of my friends mentioned that it was my birthday the next day. When my friend and I were brought to our room, we were told we had been upgraded to the luxury suite to help celebrate. The room was gorgeous. There were a few cultural/traditional decorations, but it was very modern (and there was a lot of natural lighting with the large window). The bathroom is worthy of its own review as well. It was beautiful and you could tell the thoughtfulness put into its design. Unfortunately I did not make time to use the bathtub, but the shower was amazing. The next highlight was the restaurant area (with a beautiful pool in the center of it). Again, my loss for not making the time to take a dip, but I certainly made sure to have every breakfast - and bite of it, for that matter. The breakfast was included in our stay. Usually I expect a satisfactory meal that is more utilitarian than enjoyable. I couldn't believe how delicious everything was. Honestly, my favorite meals of the trip. If I remember correctly, the chef did his studies in Dubai; I was very impressed. The breakfast was three courses - you start with a delicious coffee or latte, fruits, and then come the main courses. You have to try the pineapple jam! Check out was a sad moment for me because I did not physically want to leave! But alas, my flight and work the next day awaited. The host was very gracious and allowed for a later check out given the late departure time of my flight, and of course, they allowed us to keep our bags there while we took one more trip into the city. As we were leaving, they gave us a special gift that they provide to all guests.

It's rare that there isn't one thing that could have been improved, but this is one of those rarities. Nothing could have possibly been improved. This may have been my best hotel experience of my life.

I love this hotel and always stay here when in Kigali. The location is close to the Convention Centre, The decor is beautiful with lots of great art. Lovely poolside dining area. Staff are friendly and helpful. . Wi-fi is good. When the owner is in town she always comes by to say hello. You won't be disappointed.

A very charming place. Very close to the Kigali convention centre to and from which I walked every day. The staff is beyond amazing! Lovely friendly , warm and always available to solve your problems and fulfil your needs. Significantly clean and the breakfast was perfect. Really thank you and looking forward to my next visit

All. The location is super central but also in a calm area. They were all really friendly and professional. Good food, nice bar, gozy room, clean pool. I forgot my credit card there as I left and they called me immediately back. thank you for that.

The receptionist has forgotten to charge the card reader, so the battery was empty and I had to pay cash. But that was okay.

Amata n’Ubuki (milk and honey) is a small boutique hotel in the center of Kigaly, in a small street with beautiful houses and great views. The house is beautiful, the staff is friendly and professional and the restaurant is great. The eve have a small pool for the hotel’s guests.

Prices can be a bit on the high side, and weekends evenings can be noisy.

The hotel was simply perfect. Extremely conveniently located near the Kigali Conference Center (just a 20-30 minute walk). I had a room on the second floor and the hotel was very quiet and clean. I felt very safe and welcomed by the friendly hotel staff. They even gave a complimentary jar of honey at check-out!
