the airport shuttle warm welcoming staff, the location was good right next to the conference centre, in a quiet and relatively safe neighbourhood for a woman. the staff were very attentive in the breakfast. the evening restaurant staff were the opposite. the gym was OK though the staff working there didnt know how to operate the equipment. the Housekeeping were also brilliant and made our beds with a different design everyday which was exciting lol! the room was amazing , shower lovely and spacious the view from our room was special! there was not a bug in sight. It is a short walk to the local supermarket which also has a restaurant where we took our dinner every day because the hotel restaurant was poor service and over priced. I cant wait to go back. it exceeded my expectations. Fresh fruit at breakfast was delicious.. i had a full body massage done which was also amazing!

hot food at breakfast was cold or luke warm, same chicken, beef stroganoff and potatoes everyday looked dried out as if it had been reheated. evening resturaunt staff rude and slow gym staff didnt know how to use the equipment and stood there staring at us as if we were from another planet

The Lemigo Hotel in Kigali truly stands out as an exceptional hospitality destination. The swimming pool deserves special mention - it's absolutely fantastic and provides a perfect retreat. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its staff, particularly Mr. Anthony, whose attentive service and genuine care for guests exemplifies Rwandan hospitality at its finest. The breakfast experience was perfect. The spread includes an impressive selection of fresh tropical fruits, made-to-order eggs (the omelettes are exceptional), and an array of fresh vegetables and salads. The variety and quality of the breakfast offerings ensure a perfect start to each day. The front desk team deserves high praise for their professionalism and efficiency. A particularly appreciated touch was the complimentary airport transfer service both ways - a service that demonstrates the hotel's commitment to guest convenience and comfort.

While Lemigo Hotel is excellent overall, guests should be mindful of mosquitoes which can be present year-round. During my stay, mosquitoes were noticeable, particularly on my first night. However, the hotel staff promptly addressed this by providing a mosquito net, which completely solved the issue and ensured peaceful, undisturbed sleep for the remainder of my stay. I recommend requesting a mosquito net upon check-in rather than waiting until after experiencing any discomfort.

Chose Lemigo as the conference was based in the extensive spaces for workshops. Very convenient therefore and vastly less costly than the nearby Radisson. Airport shuttle (free). Nice breakfast - ask for the cappuccinos at the bar and the omelettes from the smiling lady in the corner. Large room (upgrade from Booking), huge bed. Pick up a SIM card for 8euros as you exit the airport terminal and cash points are just a few metres further along by the taxi rank. Dollars pretty much accepted everywhere. Then go and explore! Everyone was friendly and helpful wherever we went in Kigali.

Only down point was the shuttle driver was not at arrivals with names of people arriving on a board as promised. Nowhere to be seen. A taxi is 20euros/20-30,000 Rwandan francs (fix the price before getting in). So not a huge deal.

At breakfast, there is a WIDE variety of cuisines to choose from and all in plentiful amounts. The omelette station was in gt demand. I also had dinner in the restaurant. Fish grilled to perfection! Lovely atmosphere throughout. The hotel is spotlessly clean and safe - visible luggage screening. The staff are all very helpful, The decor in the communal areas adds to the feeling of being in 'high end' Africa! On the last day I discovered the jacuzzi. This is an ASSET as those who can't or don't want to swim can still enjoy this aspect of the Spa/Health club.

I had the opportunity to stay one extra night in the older/original section?? Brown/beige/depressing. It was a very different experience and feel to that of the new section which is 5*. I did not like the room decor. Also even though indicated, I did have some trips. All step edges need to be marked clearly from end to end and not just, sort of, in the middle at best. Someone is going to have a bad fall, so the hotel needs to action this!

I liked Lemigo hotel a lot: it is a top-notch choice for both business and leisure travelers. The breakfast is a standout feature, with a diverse selection of high-quality dishes that cater to various tastes, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The rooms are not only large and comfortable but also meticulously maintained, offering a perfect blend of modern amenities and coziness. The hotel’s cleanliness is impeccable, reflecting its commitment to providing a hygienic and welcoming environment (team was cleaning every morning). The swimming pool is a fantastic feature (this is why I have chosen that place), offering a serene oasis where guests can unwind after a long day (or early in the morning - as I was swimming on some days even before 7.00 am). Whether you want to take a refreshing dip or simply relax by the poolside, it adds a special touch to the overall experience. With its excellent facilities and attentive service, Lemigo Hotel ensures a memorable and enjoyable stay. Also my transport was arranged, for this I am very grateful to Joisleen and Deo. While my stay at Lemigo Hotel was largely excellent, one area for improvement would be the payment process. My preference is to pay upon arrival, but unfortunately, this option was not available at the time of booking. Offering this flexibility would enhance the overall guest experience and align with the convenience that many travelers seek. So, hope next time I can do payment once I am at the hotel, with credit card held as a guarantee only.

The breakfast was excellent and the service was very good. The rooms were very neat and amenities were fantastic. The products provided in the room were really great. I loved every bit of the accommodation. Another thing I liked about the Hotel is the complimentary pick and drop from and to the Airport at no cost. That was really fantastic compared to countries where I have been and the Hotel Shuttle charges an arm and a leg for Airport pick up and drop.

Dinner being alacart, the orders took a little more time to have them ready. You need a lot of patience to wait for your dinner order. I would suggest in times when there is full occupancy, the Hotel could have a standard Buffet Dinner.

The hotel is at a really convenient location for the nearby conference center. The stuff is really friendly and helpful and they were always very fast and responsive in our communication. It's also great that they arrange a shuttle from the airport for you. The restaurant was also very nice, open 24 hours, which is very convenient. And the breakfast was also nice with different and nice variety every day. I also liked the pool. The rooms are really spacious and the double bed huge.

On the negative side the whole hotel and rooms are a little bit oldish and not in an excellent condition, especially the bathrooms could do with some refurbishment, but nothing too bad. There was also some noise from a nearby construction site.

Went for a conference and it is 5 minutes from the Kigali Convention Centre. Had an excellent room, cleaned every morning and shower always had hot water. Toothbrush, cleaning kit and a loofa provided! Aircon worked and the wifi is free and mostly up. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are fantastic.

Nothing about the hotel itself. Only be aware on one side of the hotel there is construction, which was outside my room and probably will be for the next 6 months - started hearing it around 6:30 but one morning at 5:15 when concrete was being thrown. Wifi dropped every now and then but up again a minute later..

The breakfast was wholesome. The fruit selection, tho limited provided flavourful fare. The omlettes were great. Other dishes that I sampled were tasty. Good ambiance! A great start to the hectic days!

Fruit selection could have been wider. More local fruit would have been nice. Non diary substitues were sadly missing. Some of us don't use dairy.

1. I was there for the last time before COVID-19 and so, this time in February 2023, it felt like coming back home as I was a regular customer. Like in the past, I ordered for dinner ugali and fish such as sambaza or mukeke and with vegetables such as spinach and hot pilipili. The ladies in the kitchen really make the best ugali. It was nice to recognise/ be recognized by some of the staff at reception and in the restaurant after these trying years of COVID-19. 2. I later came back for another 1/2 day before my evening flight and I was happy to be given a good rate for the room. 3. The complimentary shuttle from and to the airport is really a PLUS. Reading your name on a board on arrival is comforting. It makes one feel home immediately. The drivers are all very professional.

Nothing that I didn't like.
