Loved the hospitality of Justine and Isabela, the two sisters who manage Villa Asimba. Justine was brilliant in her communications pre-trip and was really helpful in sorting other aspects of our trip. The same goes to Isabela, her welcome into the house, lunch, conversations and recommendations were awesome. We were fortunate to get an upgraded room, which was beautiful and spacious. They also introduced us to an awesome guide, Papy, who took us to other places in Rwanda. My experience with this Villa is probably the strongest I've ever had in this platform and will recommend it to anyone and everyone.

No particular complaints!

This guest house is lovely, the outside terracee with the garden is very pleasant, the room was well equiped and furnished with nice decoration and very clean. Overall Villa Asimba is very welcoming. Its secret asset is the kindness of the two sisters that run it, they were very kind, available and ready to help for any request. I have not eaten lunch or dinner but can confirm that the breakfast was very good. The place is quiet, slept like a baby for the 4 nights spent there!

We stayed here for 4 nights on 3 different dates during our travels in Rwanda. The property was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The rooms were much nicer than what shows in the pictures. Justine and Isabel were fabulous and took great care of us. They went out of their way to help us with everything that we needed.

There was nothing that we did not like about the property. We even cancelled reservations at another hotel so we could stay here.

The pros: - amazingly caring, attentive and kind host, Justine is really great! - good and safe location, still very quiet - spacious, very clean,, nice smelling room with an amazing view of Kigali - comfortable bed - finger-licking delicious breakfast with fresh juice and warm croissants I travel a lot around the globe, but this is by far one of the best places I've ever stayed at!!

The cons: - I couldn't find any

Justine and Isabelle received us with exceptional friendliness and warmth. They were always willing and available to help, I fondly remember our many chats and laughter. The room was sparkling clean and spacious. The day started with fresh fruit and homemade croissants,  topped up with whatever else you wished for. Thank you for the special cake and even German rye bread! We enjoyed every single of their delicious dinner suggestions,  taking us from European to African and International cuisine. Thank you for making dinner such a memorable culinary experience! The pistachio sauce will remain my favourite:-) "The Villa" and our lovely hosts Isabelle and Justine will always be on our minds. T+I. PS. The special roast Rwandan coffee  adds a special moment and memory to every day :-)

Good clean & comfortable room & bathroom. Supportive & friendly owner. Bkfst is fresh with fruits & pastry but lacks variety.

Overpriced food menu. Charges extra for eggs for bkfst which at such a place seems ridiculous. Be aware, credit card payment carries additional service charge/fee which is unpublished. Construction from across street makes it noisy at room during the day. Wifi was a hit & miss during our stay, didn’t function properly.

Villa Asimba is Kigali's hidden jewel. It is beautiful, peaceful, clean, comfortable and well located. The place is wonderful, with the swimming pool, vegetation (with flowers visited by hummingbirds) and the terrace. The bedrooms are spacious, comfy and cozy. But what makes me stay there every time I go to Kigali, is the feeling of being home. The sisters Justine and Isabelle are the best hostesses. Not only they are cheerful, helpful and understanding, they make me feel like visiting those close relatives who love having people over, and therefore cook the most delicious and comforting food, and with whom you share good laughs and deep thoughts at sunset. Also, Isabelle is the best cook in town! She adapted the menu to my food intolerances in the most delicious way. Villa Asimba will always be my first choice when visiting Kigali! Big hug to my favourite sisters!

Everything was perfect! Something travellers should keep in mind when staying here (which I must say I forgot a few times) is that meals should be notified in advance, as this is not a big hotel with its own restaurant, but a family owned Villa with a kitchen. Isabelle buys fresh ingredients in the morning and plans for the day accordingly. I personally love this approach, but it is noteworthy to travellers who like to improvise.

Justine is an exceptionally nice and very hard working lady. She excelled with communications as well as organizing airport pickup and tours. The premises were immaculately clean. The pool is an excellent bonus. Breakfast was really good and lunch and dinner can also be had there.

Nothing at all. It is not in the centre but the layout of Kigali means that probably no place could be.

I have done my fair bit of travelling around the world but never have I found a place more surprising and pleasant. Privately owned, this is a heaven of calm, taste and hospitality and has everything you would need to either start your Rwandan experience or to wind it down after having gotten dusted in Akagera Ntl. Park. It is the the best non-chain accomodation I had in Africa so far. The warm and friendly attitude is way beyond the norm and our hosts had i. e. been given us invaluable advice & help when we had a car accident. One word: superbe…

A nice cozy house tucked away nicely in the outskirts of Kigali. It's a women owned and run enterprise by two sisters. They are very welcoming and also well versed in multiple languages so easily communicate and also teach 😃 customers a word or two. I enjoyed my 5 day stay and felt like I was still at home 🏠.... Merci beaucoup Villa Asimba for hosting us.

That I had to eventually leave....😃😃😃😃
