Arrived at Alicante airport late evening and got a taxi very quickly. Hotel is about 10 minutes from the Airport. Checked in ok and quickly dumped our bags in a very nice room. Got to the bar which was set in a lovely garden area. Only had a drink as ate before we flew. Beds comfortable but room overlooked the garden that was also the restaurant/bar so a little noise but nothing too obtrusive. Good nights sleep and nice shower in the morning. Breakfast was in the same outside are with a nice continental fare. Checkout good and they arranged us a taxi with no problem. Overall a great hotel for the airport.

Hotel Areca exceeded our expectations for a convenient and comfortable stay. The hotel was clean and well-kept, and we were able to check in early, which was very helpful. Staff were polite, professional, and made everything feel smooth and easy, especially when they arranged a taxi to the airport for us early the next morning. The garden area was a real highlight - perfect for enjoying a drink in the afternoon. We also had dinner at the hotel and the paella was absolutely fantastic. The spa area was another great touch, featuring a dry sauna, wet sauna, and a small pool. It was a lovely, peaceful spot to relax and de-stress after a day of travel.

It's very close to the airport so is perfect if you have a late arrival or early departure! It's also just a short walk from the train station, so nice and easy to get into central Alicante. There are a few bars and restaurants dotted around as well... good check in experience with friendly staff and superb breakfast options. Room was also modern and comfortable. Took advantage of the Spa too, with plunge pool/jacuzzi and sauna! All in all, a good stay!

We only stayed for one night, and were there as part of a business trip, so wasn't really long enough to say if there was anything we disliked... I would happily stay there again though.

Very close to the airport, secure parking for 7e, big, modern, clean room with huge, comfy bed, big TV, seating area, drinks facilities, bathroom with spa bath.. Lovely little garden for breakfast. We paid 89e for this suite which was excellent and we were really happy with this lovely hotel. Well done all.

We just wish we could have stayed longer to try the restaurant and gym/spa. We used the hotel as a stopover after landing late at Alicante. We wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future. Really hope the place does well as it is a great find.

The hotel was modern, comfortable and very clean, staff friendly and helpful. comfortable beds, great shower. good variety at breakfast, location near the airport.

The only hotel I have ever stayed in that didn't have kettle, tea & coffee facilities free water in the room, looking at the information you had to scan, you could hire a kettle for €5 ?we arrived late 12.00am after a flight delay we couldn't get a drink of tea or anything to eat, we weren't venturing out at that time 3 women alone. Hotel Areca you need to re think this policy it isn't how other hotels operate.

It’s a beautiful hotel with very well appointed rooms. The garden is lovely although a lot smaller than it looked in the pictures. The restaurant was brilliant. I had dinner and breakfast both which were excellent

The room was very warm. The air conditioning was a reason I chose this hotel. However it was only on heat although the switch looked like it was for cold (apparently the system can either do heating or cooling depending on the season I found out the next day.) So it git even hotter and I woke up in a sweat at 27 degrees! The bed was very firm and the pillows very hard. I used my clothes instead for a pillow. .

Handy place to stay after a late flight. Clean and comfortable with a lovely garden area and a nice breakfast. We didn’t have time to see or use the pool facilities. Friendly staff who were happy to book us a taxi back to the airport in the morning to collect our rental car.

We can’t understand the thinking behind having no door at all on a shower/sink area! Fine for a couple but not so great for people sharing a twin room. We had one teen come into our room while the other showered so it worked ok but it was a little bizarre 😂

The staff were lovely - very friendly, very helpful, and very hospitable. It was very clean and nicely decorated. There was complementary tea and coffee in the morning - and bonus, they offered me a to go cup so I could drink it on the shuttle. The shuttle was punctual, safe, and fast (and also fairly reasonably priced!).

If I’m being critical, the spa was quite basic (but it was complementary) and, although prompt, some email responses were only partial and required follow up (staff communication was so much better in person!)

We arrived early and our room was ready which was great because they allowed us to check in before the time stated , the room was really airy and comfortable and the private jacuzzi in our room was fabulous, the spa was very good and not too far from our room and the staff was delightful and helpful with enquiries, it was only a 4 minute ride to the airport , unfortunately we had to check out early due to an unforseen personal emergency at home but would loved to have stayed much longer

The fact that we had to check out a night early but had already paid for 2 nights , i realise it wasnt the hotels problem but it was a family emergency and i think it would have been nice to have been offerred a voucher or something for future stay since we couldnt stay for the full experience that we had paid for

It was great for us as we were catching a 3am flight and provided a very good service for that purpose, i.e. if you need to rest before or after a flight at alicante airport. Spotless . Very good value for money. They will book a taxi to airport at front desk. The full restaurant is only open from 8pm and the menu looked lovely, but to be honest the more limited bar menu was very good quality and service was excellent. Facilities for conference looked very good. Not many facilities around the hotel ( though they have good spa in high season) but that's not why you are staying there. Thank you 😊
