We loved the location! It was so close to the beach, shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. The only time we used the car was when we went to Canon Beach. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The only thing we were bummed about was that the outdoor furniture cushions were missing. The reason we chose that room was for the outdoor seating area, and we were unable to use it.

Lock box entry made for easy access, veryrecent remodeling made everything clean and fresh. Excellent location, albeit not on the beach it was easy walking access to the main road for services. Caretakers very nice people.

The only downside was no laundry. No only no laundry in the unit or on the grounds. There is no public laundry in town OR the surrounding area. Nearest laundry is in Rockaway Beach. If you were traveling w kids or beaching alot this is a consideration.

Honestly, there was nothing that we did not like! Check in was easy, communication was great, accomodated our pet, walkable distance into main strip w/ food and down to ocean! Will stay again!

This was our second time staying at the San Dune. We love that it is reasonably priced, easy check in, includes a refrigerator and microwave for our leftovers. And the most important thing, that our dog gets to stay with us. We like walking to the beach and setting up for several hours to play, watch kite boarders and enjoy the view. The town has a mellow vibe, some great restaurants and is a great base for further coast explorations.

The property was super cute, beachfront and so close to so much.

As with any accommodation that allows pets, the carpets could be replaced, eventually. We new going into it that it was a pet friendly room, and although the carpet was a little rough, it was evident that it was well cleaned. That’s my only feedback, and I’m sure the staff is aware of it as well :-)

The place was clean.

I am not sure about the remodel. There needs to be more counter space in the bathroom. Microwave on top of the fridge??? Side tables on both sides of the bed. I guess when you say fireplace... I mean a real fireplace? But we used it as a side table in the bedroom. The side tables next to the couch need to be longer. No coffee table?

We were very pleased with the location a couple of blocks from the downtown area and 6 blocks from the beach. The room was a pleasant surprise as it was updated, very clean and charming.

We had no complaints regarding this location.

Perfect location off the main street into Manzanita. Totally walkable to the beach and all the local businesses. Felt safe as a solo female traveler here. Easy check-in and check-out! Would definitely stay here again.

The bed and pillows were wonderful and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful in assisting me when I needed assistance.

The furniture in the room was extremely uncomfortable. There were two wooden high stools that were very uncomfortable to sit in and there was one two-person couch that was so low to the ground that I slid out of it while I was trying to get dressed. I did ask the management to bring me a regular full-sized chair, which they did, and that helped me out a lot. Also, there was no closet or wardrobe to hang your clothes. There was one 5 hook hat rack next to the bed, where I had to drape my clothes while I was there.

clean n cute! owner was very accommodating and nice to chat with and the location was right near shops n coffee n just a few quick blocks to beach! loved it! oh and the bed was wasaaay more comfy than sunset surf- to me that actually makes them a toss up

no air conditioning- and hot days are here to stay so ductless ac units would be a great investment
