Beyond hospitable staff, amenities, refreshed spotless rooms and the location! You wake up to the endless ocean! Haystack Rock is literally opposite the property, the property has a beautiful beach access! There are complimentary marshmallows on the beachfront with a bonfire- we had a magical two night stay with our pup! They provide a welcome kit for your dog as well which is so great, along with a complimentary snack hamper in the room! P.S- There’s a Dog wash area with warm water, that was beyond thoughtful and our poodle mix gets sand in her curls and it was so easy to wash her off with the warm hose (she hates cold water!)

I love where the resort is located. Only I wish I could’ve had a room with a terrace. My only suggestion is that perhaps they could make some adjustments to the closet. It is too small to te point that not even the hangers fit in there, there wasn’t enough space to hung clothes.

I love the fact that they are on the beach. It is wonderful to be able to just take the outside stairs and you are right there. Also we were super happy when our pet got his on treats, towel, dish etc. Overall we were happy and had a great time. And, yes we are ready to come back again, ever with a tiny closet 😉

We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary and the Resort "pulled out all the stops" to make our stay memorable. Bubbly in the frig, a lovely "message in a bottle" (literally), and a personal note from the manager. But the biggest surprise was when I looked at the little display of snacks in the room, the note said they were "complimentary". I was expecting a hefty price tag that usually accompanies room snacks. I then knew this was an exceptional place to stay. The view could not have been better, right in front of Haystack Rock!

To access the pool building you have to go outside. This would be great in the summer, but it snowed when we were there, so we skipped the pool and sauna.

We were pleasantly surprised by the room upgrade provided for our anniversary stay which included a bottle of bubbles! Thank you so much to the staff and the friendly phone call from management when booking this room to ensure that we had the best time possible. The place is located right on the beach to the point where you can be lulled to sleep by the ocean waves at night. The place was clean, the hot tub and sauna were working and clean, which was a huge plus!

When we arrived our room was at 57 degrees which was pretty cold, we simply turned on the heat and it got warm in about 15 minutes so no big deal. Other than that, everything was easy- check-in, check-out, parking and getting around the property.

This location was amazing! I can't imagine booking a better spot for an amazing view of Haystack Rock. We had a room with a balcony facing the beach, and 180-degree views of the water. It was worth every penny! The room was comfortable, and the fireplace was lovely, because it was chilly most of the time we were there (mid May). I also loved the fire bundle you can purchase at the front desk, with access to free blankets and lawn chairs. It made for a memorable evening. The hotel knew it was our anniversary and left a bottle of champagne and very nice note/bottle of sand in our room. Overall we loved it. Close enough to walk to several places to eat, too.

Check-In experience did not tell us about all of the amenities, like my detailed confirmation phone call did. I had to ask a few questions to find out all that was offered. Beware that not all staircases are open going down to the beach, but you can find your way easily.

Unfortunately we only had a one night stay here and checked in pretty late, so we did not have much time to get the full experience we wanted. However, we did make the best out of it and enjoyed our view and cannon beach as much as we could before we checked out. What a beautiful hotel and great staff. Janelle went out her way to make sure our accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed. I appreciate her and staff very much and hope to visit and stay at the Hallmark again.

Room was very nice - gas fireplace, comfortable bed, large bathroom and, even though it wasn't technically an ocean view room, it had a little window looking north up the beach with a small table and two chairs. Really made the difference in the functionality of the room and the pleasure of being right on the ocean. Staff were very friendly and solicitous about whether we needed anything, and the exterior stairs took you right to the beach. Chairs were available to take onto the beach, and there were beach fire starter kits. And a hand held shower to rinse off feet or pets.

We had room 228 which was a bit steep financially for $320.00 for one night and a tiny peek at the ocean from the room. My husband had rented a room for the two of us precovid19 that had a hot tub in the room and a nice view. I had hoped to be getting the room my husband had previously used. Regardless I still like the Hallmark Inn in Cannon Beach, Oregon.

The parking spaces were very close together and we had to park a hundred feet from our room because other customers didn't park in single spaces, but used two spaces. The bed in the room was very hard.

It would be difficult to find a more convenient location in Cannon Beach. The Hallmark located close to the iconic Haystack and offers steps directly to the beach. It's also close to town, with nearby shops and restaurants within a block or two. The central shopping district is a few blocks to the north. Our partial-view room was well appointed and very clean. We heard some occasional footsteps from the unit above ours, but it wasn't intrusive. Parking was easy and the beach was just a few steps away. Recommended.

Our king suite was fabulous! Exceptional views of Haystack from our balcony made me very happy. The kitchen was stocked better than any other hotel kitchen I've stayed at and had sharp knives. Even paper towels and basic spices were provided. We enjoyed our gas fireplace every night. Hot coffee & tea was always available in the lobby area along with cookies in the evening and the spa services were fabulous!
