The inn was in a perfect location, right on the "prom". On the second floor, we had a view of the ocean beyond the grassy dunes. We were also very close to Broadway and all the shops and restaurants. The staff allowed us to access our room a couple of hours early, which was awesome.

I had thought our room (Whale Watcher) had a window that opened, as I love to hear the sound of the sea, and the temps were good for a cool breeze. However, the window with a screen was closed up with a note "closed for safety". As there were other windows in the inn that opened, it looks like the window sash cord was missing and it needed repaired. If an open window is important, you might want to check with staff when booking. As we were only there one night, it wasn't a deal-breaker. I also wish there was a full length mirror.

Location was great, loved that it was a smaller accomadation.

Parking was challenging for full size truck. Also room had trash in the seat cushion in the back of the chairs.

Staff was wonderful, on checkin because it was my husbands birthday, there was an ocean view available and the upgraded us to this room no extra charge. second day had trouble with the tv cable box a gentleman came up to room to assist us, and he had to call the cable company but he up dated us when they had fixed the problem. Second time staying here would definitely consider staying here again, positives out weighs the few negative.

The queen mattress was aweful not comfortable, kind of sank into the middle. wish they had a small microwave in room to heat thing, there was one on open areas on third floor we was on second and ice machine not working Half the time. room not. completely clean notice wrappers and things under bed from previous client

Great location on the promenade but away from the busy area. Nice view and easy beach access. The room had a very comfortable bed. The room had newer finishes and decor such as upgraded bathroom fixtures with duel shower and automatic night light, nice tile. The decor was modern and attractive, with a very quiet mini fridge. The space was organized well. The view was great. The service was very good, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The whole place was quiet and peaceful. Parking was convenient.

The windows were screwed shut for safety so we could not get the ocean sound or fresh air. (The side windows of the bay window could be replaced with something safe that opens!)The room had a Keurig coffee which is a thumbs down for me. I prefer an old fashioned drip coffee pot that has less plastic waste and can heat water for tea. Also, the room had only paper or plastic cups (rather than glasses and mugs) so that one couldn't really heat water in the microwave either and again, more waste and felt cheap for the price.

stayed in the “sand dollar” room, with a spa tub, electric fireplace, large windows, high ceilings, beautiful large light fixture that was hanging comfortable beds, soft blankets amazing stand up shower! everything was great & walking distance to the beach, less than 5 minutes from the hotel (could see the beach from the corner window in our room)

i think the elevator might need replacing soon (very slow and seems a little outdated) but that one thing didn’t bother us especially with how great everything else is

Staff was very welcoming, kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were super comfy. The location right on the prom was perfect for getting quick walking access to the beach and all of the restaurants/shops on Broadway.

There were some mild maintenance issues regarding the functioning of some of the doors/windows and walls, but that's to be expected on a property this close to the ocean air.

The view was great! The staff was very friendly.

I was in the Timber suite, 4th floor. One of the windows had condensation (bad) and needs to be replaced. The finishes needed an update. The carpet especially wasn't clean (stained). There needs to be more outlets - perhaps a bedside table light with outlets in it? I get that I was paying for the view which was amazing, but it seems like the room needed something more. I stayed at another establishment the week before (down the block) which was also oceanfront for the same amount ($317) and it was more updated and included breakfast.

The fourth floor was completely remodeled. Everything was beautiful and very tasteful. Staff was incredible and accommodating. My second stay there, first time with my wife, and definitely not our last 🙂

Only thing I can actually think of was uncomfortable pillows. They seemed very flat. We had an issue with the wifi, but the nice lady downstairs fixed that immediately. Also I wouldn’t really call it an issue, but being on the fourth floor you’re gonna sit by the windows and enjoy the incredible view. The windows should be spotless for that in my opinion..

I was not offered any breakfast. I didn’t know breakfast was offered with my stay. Receptionist was kind although I did not receive a receipt for my stay.

I was confused in the hall room what door to use to go out to the beach. I opened one door and there were a stockpile of mattresses. When I saw a door that Bell tower, I tried opening it thinking guests had access to some view point, but lol it was the name of the suite. I’m sure others tried attempting to open it. I think you should change from naming suites to letters or numbers.
