The fire pit was not working and the ice ice machine did not work

Fantastic room, right on the ocean, very comfortable bed! Staff was super helpful, they came and fixed the gas fireplace within minutes of us notifying them it wasn't working.

Parking could have been a little more convenient.

We booked this inn day-of after having a very poor experience at Oceanside. Inn at the Prom was very kind and my room was ready immediately! The room is very comfortable, like a small apartment, and the bed was very comfortable as well. It felt very safe. They also provided a lovely fire pit to sit at, and a nice view of the ocean.

The parking was awful to get out of! There’s a very narrow parking lot in front of the inn’s rooms, in which you need to back out of to exit. It’s only for compact cars, though many don’t realize that until it’s too late and park their very large trucks in the lot. There’s extra spots outside for SUVs and large trucks, but some still parked in the small lot. Besides the awful parking, the place itself is lovely!

We loved the cozy beds, jetted bath tubs, and ocean view. We also appreciated how hard the housekeepers worked to make our room immaculate before we arrived. Staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable during our stay and I appreciated that they knew which places were open during the holidays for us to grab dinner.

The check-in process was a little confusing, we were not aware of where to check in once we arrived. I called the phone # from google for Prom at the Inn to try and figure out where we needed to go and saw the caller ID show the Gilbert Inn across the street and that's when we realized the check in was in a different property across the street at Gilbert Inn.

The location is extremely convenient and worked perfect for us to enjoy both Seaside and Cannon beach. The room was also cozy and comfortable even though it was on the smaller size. The bathroom and tub/shower was very nice, bring your own step stool for little ones to reach the sink.

The room had little privacy and there were ants in the kitchenette that we had to deal with. There is no AC only a separate tower fan to use so it would be uncomfortable in warmer weather, luckily we were there in the early fall but it was still often too warm or stuffy. The foldout mattress was dirty.

What we liked about the property was the location. It was within walking distance of the beach. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and having a stove in our room. We didn’t use it during our stay, but having a fire place is also a plus. It was clean and nice and made our stay relaxing.

Parking was cramped and difficult to unpack the vehicle and exit the spaces. The pull out couch was easy to operate but not very comfortable to sleep on.

Everything was good. Liked the jetted tub for sure. Wifi did not work the whole time we were there. I felt that with how much I spent on that suite, we should have had wifi. I had school work I needed to do while I was there and had to do it on my phone. Couldn't watch any TV while we were relaxing. Which was a total bummer. Would have loved to be able to watch a movie while warming up in front of the fireplace. Other than that it was a great stay!

Location and views were perfect! Loved watching the sunset every night.

We were locked out of our room several times during our stay which was horrible. We were even stuck outside once for about 45mins later in the evening while it was pouring rain. Apparently they had changed the locks at some point earlier that day and not let us know we needed to come get new keys. It made an otherwise great experience into a bad one. We wouldn’t stay here again because of the lack of communication.

I loved the little room. It was cozy and clean. The kitchenette was nice, and the facility as a whole was really nice. The office staff was great and very accommodating when we asked for extra supplies. The grounds were beautiful and clean, and it was right off the beach pathway.

I didn't care for the incredibly hard bed! Also there was lawn maintenence early in the morning that woke us up after a really rough night of no sleep.

I liked that it was ocean view and we had a private patio. The tub was amazing and I appreciated that they offered shampoo, conditioner and body wash in large dispensers as opposed to the small bottles most hotels offer.

There were no dressers. The spa tub was in the bathroom and not where we could see the ocean from it. I also feel the room was ovepriced for what we paid despite it being off season. The staff was mildly disconnected at check in, like we disturbed their facebooking!
