Everything… The Staff we’re very professional. The restaurant food was very good - except the hamburgers, which were dry from smashing with the spatula (worst thing you can do while cooking a hamburger or steak) and the ‘added fillers’ in the pre-frozen patty made it taste like cardboard. The pool and surrounding grounds were very relaxing. I will be back.

Lack of English speaking staff. This led to a misunderstanding concerning 17,000 cólones, when in fact it was 3,009 cólones… Not a good place for a guest to be placed in.

We got a room upgrade to a suite which was lovely. Dinner was good, although the entire hotel was very quiet as there were very few guests. Breakfast was ok....nothing special.

The place is clean and pretty new. The gardens are well kept. Good parking area. Food was really good.

The window on the bathroom does not open. The gate on the balcony is hard to open.

The rooms are nice and spacious. The restaurants cleanliness is above expectation and the buffet is perfect. The pool area is also wonderful and clean. The security is also pretty good, it felt pretty safe throughout the stay!

The internet pretty much is not up to the necessity of a businessman but for small quick internet things or perhaps to check the emails its okay. I also did not like the change of exchange rates from dollars to colones, the receptionists went all over the place with the exchange rate. 550, 575, when in accuracy the exchange rate is about 630 that a mayor difference in this country even for a foreigner and I am a local

The buildings and the gardens are great. The swimming pool is nice and very clean. The room and the restaurant are good. The service is fast!

It has been refurbished, but it needs some more touch-ups. They are obsessed by the security and we couldn’t open the windows of the bathroom and we couldn’t air it. The wifi in the room was terrible

The people who work at Los Rios are so nice and so helpful! It’s also so clean and well kept.

I would have liked the air condition to be a bit stronger. But I am from Texas so I am spoiled!

We made an overnight stop during the drive from Cahuita to La Fortuna, and thought this was going to be a friendly and nice spot to relax. It was not. Basically a totally overpriced roadside hotel with zero character. Restaurant closed at 4:30pm so we had no dinner option and vehicle restriction for driving. Had to argue with staff to arrange for food delivery. We were the only people there other than the owners which just felt creepy - we were constantly being watched. The whole place felt like something out of a horror movie.

Only, one person Bilingual...Difficult ordering food & cook a special way...Example : Eggs Well done..Room bathroom dirty.Toilet..I show the housekeeper, she refused to clean it...
