Would have liked a bigger breakfast with other options. Would have liked to have fished. Would have liked to been able to go down to the river. More lighting at night and guards. TV had only 5 channels.Would have liked more. Bathroom needed more soap. Bathroom needed shampoo Room needed a broom to sweep up area around fireplace Fireplace needs a screen in front due to sparks Would have liked option for coffee or tea anytime Snacks not available

For the price, this is a charming old fashioned stay, staffed by extraordinarily friendly staff willing to go out of their way to help you with most anything to make your vacation, not just your stay there, better. Everything was clean and comfortable, but it is older. Again, best stay in this price range I've had in Costa Rica, but if you are averse to older rooms and bedding, do yourself a favor, dig down in your wallet, and spend double on the appropriate place.

Excellent value for money. Easy check in - we checked in late at night due to flight delays. Good communication from the team prior to arrival and they were responsive with any queries. Very quiet and peaceful, good location for onward travel from San Jose. Nice traditional breakfast. Extremely clean room with comfortable bed.

Bathroom is new, clean and modern. Water gets nice, warm and hot during rainy season. Perfect for family of five. The shower stall is very spacious, easy for two to shower at a time and save time. Also very practical with drying rack outside for those wet clothes from the rain or sweat.

Beautiful garden, nice to spend a day before going back to noisy San José. You can ask the Bus driver to drop you off in Front of the gate of the Hotel.

Not much around, difficult to walk, because no hiking trails or the like around.

Amazing value! We had a wonderful stay after flying into San Jose. Mountain View’s, beautiful garden, and clean rooms. Great location to go to zipline and aerial tram at braulio carrillo park. Free breakfast too!

Nothing it was great

Every time I stay there, I sleep very well due to cool temps. The Gardens surrounding the cabins are fully established old growth and are beautiful. Very Private and I highly recommend you check it out --- ps. Lots of firewood

It's not a new hotel, and it shows. But its clean, well located, the territory is well cared for and the Manager (Abdul) is a great person with a good sense of customer service.

Some of the things need repair, but overall it is a clean place to stay and great value for money.

Beautiful location, delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. Cottages were quaint and well-built

Bed was a little hard, still slept alright though. WiFi could have been better, cell service is fine in the area though

A place with a beautiful view surrounded by trees and nature, the sounds of the variety of birds makes your stay very pleasant. The room is spacious and very Cozy, The staff is very friendly and helpful, It is also an excellent option to rest before traveling to the Caribbean in Costa Rica or when you return. I had a great time and would gladly stay again.
