All the stuff was very friendly and helpful. We liked that we could chose what we want for breakfasts and everything was delicious. All in all the room was comfortable and had everything needed for a couple of days stay.

There was a gap between the entrance door and the floor that served as entrance for the local fauna. The kitchen is equipped only with the microwave, so you cannot really cook anything in there. The hotel is located a bit outside of the main street, the path to it is narrow and goes among fences of the local houses. However, the most of the locations in Tortugero are like that.

Best hotel in Costa Rica so far. My girlfriend and I had a great time there. It is a very small hotel with i think 6 rooms. The whole staff is so friendly. Cooper is great, it was very important to him, how we were feeling about everything, how the food was, the rooms and so on. You can book tours there and i would recomend it. Maybe they are a little more expensive then from other organisations. But you will have your private tour with Johnny, who is a great guy. For example for the night tour it was only the two of us with Jonny. And the boattour we had with another couple from the hotel. And the boats of other companys were full with like 15 people. Johnny knows a lot and answers all yout questions The food and the girls cooking and serving it were great as well! They even washed and dryed our clothes. I can recomend it to everybody who is coming to tortugueru!!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Even before we arrived we received WhatsApp messages confirming our booking and giving the opportunity for us to ask any questions. We arrived earlier than expected but still received a warm welcome and our room was ready very soon. The location is ideal as it is in the middle of town and everything is within a few minutes walk- the main strip with restaurants and shops, the entrance to the Tortuguero national park and the beach. We were served a lovely breakfast each morning in the courtyard which was a great place to watch the wildlife come and go, including spider monkeys!

Only a small thing but the curtains didn't stretch right to the end of the windows at the front so anyone walking past could have seen in a little. It's a small hotel and not many passing the room so not a big problem.

The breakfast was simple but satisfactory. The dinners (which came as part of our package) were simple but satisfactory with a bonus glass of wine! . The meals were served at times to suit your itinerary which was great and the service was super friendly. The room was amazing - modern, clean and very spacious.

Walking to the hotel felt a little dodgy as it’s down back streets but you get used to it and it’s close to the village restaurants and bars and the national park entrance. The beach is long but not attractive and it’s not possible to swim there.

We had an absolute dream stay at Serendipity. The hotel is very small, it only has maybe 6 rooms in total which makes it very cosy and family like. We had such a warm welcome! The staff is wonderful and so kind. They always wanted to make sure we are happy. We LOVED Costa Rican breakfasts! The room was clean, had a well functioning AC and honestly everything we needed. We stayed 3 nights and if we are ever here I’d love to stay at Serendipity again! The hotel is 3 min to the beach and we could also enjoy private monkey shows in the morning :)

We had a balcony room upstairs - these have huge windows and are private. The rooms were of a very high standard. Fully fitted kitchen, beautiful bathroom as well as a sitting and dining area. We loved sitting out on the balcony to watch the view (including the passing monkeys). The hotel is right next to the park - so had the joy of hearing all the animals in the morning; and its just two minutes from the beach. We also liked the communal eating and sitting areas - which gave you an opportunity to meet other guests. The breakfasts were fantastic - cooked to order. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk to town with all the bars and restaurants. Note that the rooms downstairs are next to the community area so you need to keep your curtains drawn for privacy.

The hotel does not have a pool and you cannot swim in the sea (due to rip tides) - so if it's hot there is nowhere to cool off. The hotel is quite expensive given the lack of facilities - but accommodation is expensive in this location.

The staff were so helpful. From the moment I booked to during our staff they were in contact with us and helped us to book trips and transfers. They just made the whole trip so much easier. When we were at the property the room was lovely, very clean with everything we could want. The food was amazing too, some very tasty local dishes. The trips arranged for us by the hotel was amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone planning on visiting the area.

Excellent little place off "main street", only 6 rooms, quite the standard for the "hippie" place Tortuguero. Staff was exceptionally friendly, thank you Cooper and team ! They offered to put our rain soaked clothes in the dryer, we left for lunch, by the time we got back, it was waiting in our room and already folded ! Breakfast made to order, you get asked what you want the day before and when you want it. Fridge, kitchen, microwave, A/C...

We had a beautiful room with great facilities which made our stay very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean. We had the breakfast & dinner package which was very good value as the food was tasty & well presented! All the staff were very friendly & helpful. We thoroughly both the tours organised by the hotel- the boat trip & the night tour run by a very informative guide . We would strongly recommend this hotel.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Cooper and his team made it the best trip. They gave us great recommendations and they organized a boat trip for us. It was raining when we arrived and they very kindly dried all our clothes for us. They wanted us to have the best experience in Tortugeuro possible. Cooper called us everytime there were cool animals around like Monkeys. We will definitely stay here again.
