I was doing the Camino so it was great to get in the pool when I got there, it was a bit windy but I had the pool to myself. The person in charge, I think her name is Andrea, she was lovely, all questions answered, everything was made very clear with a nice smile. The room was amazing, a lovely view, comfortable bed, very clean. There was water available for us in the fridge at no extra charge. The dinner was very good, high quality products, the bread was amazing. The breakfast was wonderful. Friendly staff, I value and appreciate that a lot. I highly recommend it.

Nothing ti say here.

The hotel is based near the river and it felt like in the middle of nowhere, as it was a long pathway from the main street. Absolutely gorgeous hotel and location itself. It was facing the town on the other side, but since we arrived late in the evening the street lights looked so beautiful across the wide river. People were drinking some wine and enjoying the view. We took some tea and spent our evening in the library. Everything nicely detailed. Our room was so unexpectedly big, and had a king size bed, very comfortable, also facing the river too. We also had a launch and bathroom with the window to the nice view too. Staff was very friendly. Although charged us twice for the breakfast, but when I realised they refunded straight away. very recommended, maybe even for the better weather, because they also have a swimming pool outside. Very beautiful and relaxing place.

The launch room was a bit dark, but only in the evening, as in the day it had a lot of windows. Could be more variety for breakfast, but staff cooked for me some omelette on request.

It was fun to spend the night in a historical building who used to be a convent. The room was big and comfortable with a great view. The owner opened the chapel for us to visit which was nice. Also enjoyed having drinks in the courtyard. Very friendly staff.

There is no restaurant on premise and we were too tired to walk 1 km to the nearest town. Tried unsuccessfully to order delivery. It wasn’t a big issue for us but be warned.

Beautiful restored small hotel right on the camino Ingles. The view to the water was spectacular. Bed was super comfortable. Wonderful amenities. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We didn't have the full breakfast there but coffee was available.

It was cold in the common areas and the room. The space heater worked well, just not enough for the room size. I'd stay here again though.

Beautiful restored monastery or convent. Was able to view the chapel. Beautiful views. Very quiet sleeping!

The walk down from the main road (it was a rainy day) after a day on the Camino. I was too tired to walk back up to town to find food- no dinner options just breakfast. Paul served me wine and olives and I was able to order from Uber Eats so it all worked out.

Friendly staff and owner. We got there quite early on the Camino and they let us hang out in the beautiful and cozy library till our room was ready.

Just make sure you plan on where to eat before your arrival (or bring a picnic to eat outside if the weather is nice). They do sell drinks and you can pay for a nice breakfast buffet in the morning.

Architecturally a very creative property, Rooms spacious. Paul was a wonderful host and went above & beyond. The Water vista is peaceful and serene and the onsite chapel is very historic, quaint .

Selling espresso in am is needed especially if you don’t want full breakfast. WiFi didn’t reach all parts of hotel so bridge is needed. Some of the woodworking is due for repair due to water exposure

Beautiful old building with architectural conversion to give stunning large rooms, with views across the estuary. Calm, peaceful location, and the swimming pool meant a relaxing swim after our walk.

Isolated location and our out of season stay meant that with no restaurant on site, it’s a further walk out to get food for the evening.

Quiet area on the matters edge in Neda looking at Ferrol across the river. Longish walk there but taxis are available. Hotel has great character and atmosphere. Owner has limited English but is very helpful and welcoming.

Nothing it was great.

Good location on the river. Staff very friendly, and outside cafe. Room size exceptional, but as a converted Manor house somewhat unusual in decoration.

Swimming pool closed as middle of October, even though 27C. Also the pianos in property need turning- all badly out of key.
