The hotel and the rooms and very beautiful. The staff is very friendly. There is easy access to the ski resort with a lift just right in front of it.

The spa is not included in the price of which is rather unusually for such a hotel. You have to book it and pay around 20 euros. The parking in front of it is also not free and pretty expensive.

Everything about this hotel was A M A Z I N G. The views, the food, the SPA!!!, the staff. I could never imagine that the quality of everything would’ve been that high. It’s so price worthy & it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed at. I have no words. It’s magical in every way. The view from the restaurant (the view from anywhere in this hotel) was insane. I am definitely coming back! (Also the most comfortable bed EVER!!!!!) can’t recommend this enough 🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️

Amazing place – the best accommodation we stayed at during our road trip in Norway. We started our journey from this hotel, and everything else afterward felt like a downgrade. The location is beautiful, and we had an incredible view of the mountains from a large window in our bedroom. The bathroom was spacious and modern, with a fantastic shower and luxurious amenities. Breakfast was simply outstanding – a wide variety of options for vegans and vegetarians, including different types of plant-based milk. Chefs were preparing hot dishes on the spot. There were great indoor spaces as well as a stunning terrace surrounded by mountains, perfect for outdoor dining when the weather allows. But the cherry on top was the spa – absolutely exceptional. It featured facilities like a jacuzzi, sauna, cold plunge, and outdoor pools, all with breathtaking mountain views. At one point, we had the spa to ourselves, which made the experience even more special. Next time I visit Norway, I’ll make sure to stay here again – and for more than one day, as the surrounding area is also worth exploring.

The hotel was very clean, the whole day the cleaning staff was in charge. The best thing about the hotel was the view and the location of the hotel. But also the possibility to eat during the day at the hotel was very good. The Spa had a very beautiful view above the mountains and everything you need for a day at the Spa.

Very nice view from public areas, room was clean and neat. There was everything needed also in bathroom. Bed was really enjoyable. Nice personnel, breakfast was good. (I did not use spa, so I cannot say anything about that)

View from my room - but it is my fault because I should used a bit more money and take a room with view. Parking was not free. Also payment for using private road up to the hotel - but hotel offered code which could be used by SMS to avoid that fee.

We LOVED our room! And if we were better at skiing it would have been amazing to try the ski in-out option. We will definitely do it next time!

Food options were just okay. Also very disappointed that one of the restaurants was closed the entire time we were there. Biggest issue was that we’d never stayed at a ski resort or gone skiing, and the receptionists didn’t really offer any guidance on what to do, even after we told them we were new to all of it. Also would’ve been great if the hotel offered some kind of lessons (maybe through SkiStar?) for beginners even if there is a cost associated.

Amazing location and view, room was as expected and even bigger than it looked on the pictures. Loved the view and bath products. Restaurant was amazing and accommodating to my allergies, the staff was very kind. Breakfast was very nice too

The mini bar wasn’t stocked, an empty juice bottle was left behind and it was difficult to figure out the heating. The bed (mattress+pillow) wasn’t as comfortable to us, but that is personal preference. No allergens were declared in the breakfast buffet which was a little bit of an issue for me

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! It was sooo luxurious! The views are unreal and it’s by far the best hotel in Hemsedal! The breakfast was lovely, the rooms are nice and the spa is so relaxing after a day skiing, we used it most days on our 1 week holiday! I would 100% recommend this hotel! I would suggest having a car if staying at this hotel though as we ate in the town most nights and I can imagine taxis aren’t cheap!

It is a nice luxury hotel high on up on a hill in a well established ski area. Very goid pizzas in the restaurant and very nice breakfast buffet.

Even though we booked for 3 persons in a 2-room suite we had to pay 500 nok extra to the hotel for our son + extra for the dog and for car parking. You also need to pay for using the road - however this is refundable. No refrigerator- only a small minibar. It is too expensive compared to the standard you get
