We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Diplomat, and it was a truly outstanding experience. The hotel itself is brand new, and is modern and elegant throughout. What truly set our stay apart was the exceptional service from the staff. Iva and Maja made us feel extremely welcome our whole trip. They helped book us Padel courts, and had lots of great recommendations. In true Montenegro style they made us welcome with all the shots of Rajika! This was the best and nicest hotel we stayed at in all of Montenegro, Albania and Croatia. Thanks for having us!

The hotel was well located, in an area that was not too busy and not super far from the main beach and Budva Old Town. The receptionists were also very helpful and nice constantly attending to our needs. The rooms were beautiful and very clean as well, the pool (though a little small) was perfectly clean comfortable and nice to swim in - especially as it was not too busy when we went. Overall, my stay was incredible - i really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend & wish my stay was much longer. The breakfast was also good and there is a really nice place to sit outside and eat, the staff was also great and very lovely to speak with.

Brand new, flawless! Excellent eye for a modern detail and exceptional service! Thanks to receptionist Iva we had an amazing boat tour and walk in Budva and Kotor, arranged by Jack travel. Looking forward to stay with you in September again!

We stayed at this hotel for a few days and were generally satisfied. Upon check-in, the receptionist explained everything in detail, gave us some tips about nearby places, and was very friendly. The location is great — there are grocery stores and a few restaurants within walking distance, which was very convenient.

Breakfast was quite limited, and the water in the shower would suddenly switch from hot to cold and back, which was a bit annoying. But overall, it’s a good option for a stay, especially if you don’t plan to spend too much time in the room.

I really enjoyed my stay! The room was very clean and looked new. Housekeeping came every day, and the breakfast was delicious. The rooftop pool, although small, was nice and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

downsides were the noise — the hotel is close to a road and a restaurant where events are sometimes held, so it could get quite loud. Also, the beach is definitely not a 6-minute walk as advertised — it took more like 15 minutes.

The Hotel Diplomat is a very modern and cozy place to stay. We really enjoyed the facilities provided —every detail in the hotel looks new and clean. The breakfast was a bit poor and boring, almost every day with the same choices. It would be better if the breakfast menu offered more variety.

The staff was exceptionally friendly , they made our stay unforgettable. We loved the rooftop swimming pool and free water and biscuits . The cleaning did a great job as well every day .

The room is smaller than expected > looks more spacious on pictures . For me the breakfast was a little bit too simple for a 4 star hotel , I expected more . Maybe working together with the restaurant would be a good idea to make the breakfast more special . In the shower they use small bottles for shampoo & shower gel > not really environmental friendly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, not only did they make me feel welcome in their hotel, but also in their country, as they gave me lots of recommendations on places to visit, at all of which I had enjoyable experiences at. The property is also very clean and in a good location- 15-25 minutes walking distance of bus station, beach and old town.

My only complaint is regarding the breakfast, the food was always cold, eating cold boiled eggs isn’t something I enjoy but the variety is still good.

Great hotel. Quiet. 10 minutes from the beach. 25 minutes walk to the old town. Restaurants and bakeries next to the hotel. Clean, spacious room. Small and cozy pool on the roof. The hotel serves fruit and cookies by the pool. All the hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. We especially liked the service of the receptionists who gave us excellent recommendations for beaches, restaurants and places to visit. They also booked a place on the beach for us. Fresh breakfast.

The hotel is new, fully comfortable, extremely clean and cosy. The rooftop pool is small, but you have a lot of places to sit and enjoy the sun and the view of the mountains and sea. I totally recommend choosing this hotel, even though it's a bit far from the old town, but close to the sea. The staff was also super nice and helpful.

I would love to give 10/10, but the breakfast was below the average. It was not diversified, and not really of a great quality. Vegetarians do not have too many options, and vegans have almost none.
