Everything was superb. We were greeted by Liese who was extremely friendly, anticipated our questions and gave suggestions on walking the area and on where to eat. The inn is located in an area of beautiful homes set on a hillside overlooking the bay. Flowers abound, the air is clean. The inn is sparkling clean, has inviting sitting areas including a gorgeous sunroom and a room with a fireplace that is lit in the winter. Breakfast is set out in a "serve yourself" style and includes boiled eggs, locally sourced cheeses and pate, muffins made by a local baker. It can be eaten inside or outside on a patio overlooking the bay. Truly, this is an amazing place.

I should have asked for a softer pillow but didn't. I prefer down pillows and found the ones at the inn hard.

This small and very cozy hotel truly feels like a hidden gem. Every corner is thoughtfully decorated by the owner with so much love and care. The flowers all around create a charming atmosphere, and the view of the river is absolutely stunning. We loved our stay and already can’t wait to come back soon!

Property is on a rise with an AMAZING view of the confluence of the St Laurence and the la Malbaie Rivers. The room was large and the furnishings quaint, the bathroom was very cute and clean and the water pressure was amazing. Breakfasts were ok.

There were a few cobwebs, windows in common areas could use a wash. Only a sheer curtain in the bath.

Magnificent place with an amazing view - having breakfast in the garden was a great and romantic experience. Otherwise, very charming old house that takes one back a century. Very nice host as well!

I did love everything! The place was really beautiful and charming with direct view to St. Lawrence bay. The room was confy and clean, and waking up with such a delicious breakfast had no price ! The owner was very kind and attentive during the whole stay.

The location was beautiful. The view of the river was exceptional. Lots of places to gather and enjoy. The owner was very nice. We only wish that it was closer to us so that we could visit more often. A real find!

The hostess was pleasant. The breakfast had a good variety.

The price was higher than expected. The plumbing was slow in the sink and shower. It was old fashioned, no technology or air conditioning. It felt a little run down.

Quaint, antique feeling, tranquil, excellent elevated location overlooking the bay. Mme. Lise, the owner, is fluently bilingual, friendly and helpful. Her breakfast is plentiful, with emphasis on local ingredients, various breads and plenty of cereals and fruits, but no hot food is served. The stone terrace with river view made for a very relaxing Happy Hour with other guests. Some great restaurants are nearby. e.g. Le Bistro 245.

Actually the one thing we found kind of amusing were the creaky, slanted floor in our room. However, the gorgeous river view more than made up for it!
