I like everything in the zostel,stay,dorms and the sea view.

I didn't like the late check- in even though the dorms are ready to occupy.. And the main thing if someone wants to extend the stay of the zostel property they are blocking themselves and say the dorms are full, i kindly request the head of the zostel or management to release the dorms which are blocked by the property, so that others can also book and enjoy the stay in zostel... The prices of the dorms are high compared to other Hostels in Gokarna..

This was a great hostel to stay in! We stayed in one of the cottages, so a private room, which was very clean and comfy- lots of room for our things and air conditioning!! The view is amazing and the lounging area was nice for reading and card games. The cafe attached to the hostel was also good if a little bit pricy for the quality, but absolutely loved the hostel! Staff were great too, really accommodating and ordered us tik-tuks for our journeys out as it was too hot for walking…

A very nice place to stay for the solo travellers, group of friends in Gokarna. Located nicely, you get panoramic view of the Gokarna Main Beach; Atmalingam temple is just a couple of minutes walk. Nice ambience, full of amenities, ample common area to chill and relax. Beach games and activities are also organised by Zostel. Live-in music in the evening; inhouse bar & restaurant. You get to interact with other travellers. Overall this place gives you a premium experience in a budget travel.

Everything was fantastic. The beach view, the location, the nearby walks, the waterfall trip we took (via the property), and all the people I met at Zostel Gokarna were incredible! I ended up staying eight nights when I originally only booked two, and made twenty-plus friends whom I plan to visit elsewhere in India in the future. It was awesome!

Location is just right, great view of the ocean and the vibe is really great. Loads of activities to keep you engaged and then communication was easy and friendly with the staff. The Matra cafe is fab, affordable and food is good. And thanks God ac works really well, rather too cold at times haha

Provide shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. Also the wifi is pretty bad.

One of the best Zostel properties around. A must stay in Gokarna. All staff are amazing especially Mo and Drishti. Live music during weekends at the cafe are the best.

Common area could have been more spacious and should have more card games

The music in the cafe was exactly the same every single day. They can do with some good playlists on Spotify or YouTube music like indie india, jazz, coke studio, dream pop like beach house…. Instead of eh same old pop hits of cold play and Katy perry and Taylor swift or the early 2011’s pop hits.

location is superb, rooms and beds are comfortable, staffs are great and helpful.

mantra cafe is simply overpriced and overrated.. alcohol are super expensive and not a hostel priced, no great options for cocktail lovers (they just add vodka or rum based, no other bar cocktails) i am highlighting this because of the overrating, hype and over pricing. food menu was pale. no thali and limited food. this zostel is not like other zostels where hostel mates are mixing, talking, planning.. here i felt its against solo travellers.. felt like just an accommodation place and had no vibes..
