We were up for my daughter to have non invasive heart surgery. I mentioned this to the hotel and they made sure to put us in the quiet section ( there's even a sign on the wall saying it's a quiet area which I loved) they also left extra pillows for my daughter to be more comfortable. Location is amazing both hospitals were close . Everything you need within minutes.

The resturant was only doing buffet breakfast on the Thursday. We paid 75$ for 3 people to each eat 1 plate . My daughter is 16 and eats like a bird, but we were hungry and it was the day after her surgery so we weren't planning on leaving the hotel. I believe it was because they were short staffed that day.

The room was nice, the beds were very comfortable and the fireplace added nice ambiance. The common areas were festive and well decorated for the holidays, the pool area is stunning.

Our room was for 4 people, and there is no place in the bathroom to hang towels or swimsuits. Being that this property doesn't offer maid service each day until your 3rd day, it seems as though a few hooks on the wall could help keep it tidy between cleanings. The pool is gorgeous, however the hot tub was only lukewarm and both were filled with very young children, making it loud, lots of splashing and the 10 person in the hot tub at a time rule meant that there would be eight 6-9 year olds and adults were waiting quite a long time for their chance to get in. It would be nice if there were 'adult only hours', say from 9-11. It was disappointing that both saunas were broken during our stay.

The tropical pool area was just as it looks in pictures. It’s even more impressive at night near the lights with entertainment and singers around the pool. The balcony rooms can get a bit loud so if you prefer a quiet stay you may want to avoid those plus they cost more. Only a couple minutes from a mall and 10-15 from the Old City. It was easy enough to get around with the GPS.

All the little kids in the hot tub!!! Adults couldn’t even get in due to all the parents with their small kiddos. Annoying since they really shouldn’t be in there to begin with. Parents let their kids run around the pool area early in the morning which woke us up early. Highly suggest a strong noise machine to help. This is more a lack of parenting than patrolling. We had the breakfast buffet and it was not worth the $90 for 4 to eat powdered eggs and subpar sides.

Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Swimming pool well maintained, clean and good size. Comfy bed. Could do with softer pillows (got neck ache as only high pillows available). Comfortable good size rooms and facilities inside room. Corridors and bathroom slightly dated but good size.

Only buffet breakfast available, large choice of pork (which we don’t eat) and no al a carte available - even a fried/boiled egg was not available only the scrambled on buffet. That was the only let down otherwise would give 10/10.

The saltwater pool is GORGEOUS! It was also the perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable with enough pillows of different firmness. There were enough towels in the bathroom. Lots of mirrors. Great price, beautiful hotel.

There was no tea in the coffee bar in the room, there were a couple coffee pods for the machine, but it only made espresso - which was a bit confusing. There was no glassware in the room. Not a big deal at all - but its nice to have. The shower is old and the faucet sprays which, again, not a big deal. The lighting was dim. We ordered room service because we had a baby with us, my husband had to walk down to the restaurant because we couldn't get through to room service. The food came very quickly and was delicious - but it was cold which was very disappointing because of the price.

Hotel was about 15 minute drive to Old Quebec City. Parking was included and very convenient. There is a pub/restaurant in the hotel with cheap but strong cocktails, ok food. We were on the 4th floor, fridge got restocked with water, beer and orange juice daily. Room was spacious, beds comfortable and nice strong AC. Bathroom was on a smaller size, but did the job.

It's more of a family oriented hotel, lots of kids, so early wake up call from kids running the hallway. Pool was small, lots of chlorine in it, I guess to offset the kids peeing in the pool.

It was located at the halfway point of our trip. For couples looking for a romantic atmosphere… the room, hot tub, and Hotel Ginger Bar leaves the door open for a liberating stay. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean with great water pressure and soaps/shampoo. There is a bar fridge and coffee machine. The pull down Murphy bed and easily modified desk are also handy features for additional guests or work space. The hotel lobby vendor machine has a good stock of supplies that travellers may need last minute.

We were surprised that the hotel didn’t offer us the booking.com price when we walked in without an initial reservation, which was a savings of $10. We needed to sit in the lobby and book the room.

Great amenities and friendly staff. We really enjoyed the live music at night in the garden/pool area.

We didn't know we had to put out the door hanger to request room service and missed it. We are used to only putting that out if you don't want it. It was a bit frustrating to miss out on getting our room in order. Also, the coffee was not great in the room. However the coffee from the café in the lobby was great!

The view was exceptionel the room out of the trafic of people and quietness and cleaness of the room. The pub restaurant offered good food at raisonnable price and outstanding service

We understood that our stay would include breakfast as advertise. However we were told that if we book through Bookings we were not entitle to such benefits! so we had to take care of our breakfast expense.

The restaurant “Ginger”for the breakfast buffet has good choices and the entertainment at supper time is fun. It’s not too loud and enjoyable. That resto bar, makes it that you don’t even need to leave the hotel.

I had a terrace in the pool courtyard and its beautiful but its very loud “echo”at 8h in the morning with kids in the pool. Of course they are having fun it’s not their fault. But never again
