We had a wonderful stay at these apartments! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the fresh, stylish renovation made the place feel modern and comfortable. Despite the cool weather outside, the apartment was warm and cozy. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly without any issues, which was a big plus. But the best part was the location – right in the old town, just steps away from the promenade, the park, and all the main attractions. It was the perfect base to explore the city. The self-check-in process was very convenient and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic stay, and I would definitely recommend it!

The communication with the staff was very good, they were super responsive through Whatsapp. The location was amazing, we could walk everywhere. The room itself was clean and meeting our expectations. The parking was also super close to the apartment which was super convenient. I absolutely recommend Santa Catalina suites if you want a clean, convenient stay in Gijon.

The studio room we booked was in the ground floor, looking at the pedestrian street where there are several bars and it was a bit noisy but managable since the bars are closed around 12 pm.

Our room was at the back of the property ; so we had peaceful, restful nights, but as soon as step out of the front door -it’s like another world - a buzzing square with bars, restaurants etc. Great location. Lovely walk to the beach. Exactly what we wanted. Took us I little longer than we thought to locate the underground secure garage, driving through crowds of people enjoying their evening drinks. We should’ve Googled it before. Great to have a washing machine and drier too on the ground floor.

The central location in a charming historic part of town. The interiors are elegantly understated and very clean. Two TVs provided ! The detailed information given about how to access the unit and options provided for car parking. The bed and sofa bed were both comfortable. Dryer available for use. The bonus touch of sweets provided .

We were lucky with shared access to the laundry and dryer, but it could be difficult if you had a time crunch in which to get your washing done before the next journey on. In general, while travelling through Spain, a smaller car is ideal. the streets and car parks have tight circulation.

The duplex apartment was spacious and very comfortable for 2 adults with 2 large suitcases and 2 small cases. The apartment is located on a plaza with a number of restaurants/bars in it, but the apartment was well soundproofed and the noise at night was no issue at all. The Host was delightful and very responsive to all of our questions. We had a minor glitch with the apartment while we were there, but the Host dealt with it immediately and ensured that our comfort was the main priority. The apartment suited our needs perfectly for a couple of nights, to use it as a base to explore some of northern Spain, and I would certainly use it again if we were in the area. I recommend it to others without any hesitation.

When I booked the apartment it was listed as having a washing machine. The washing machine and dryer are in fact common/shared use appliances for all people staying in the building. Whilst this still worked okay for us, we did loose some time while we kept going back downstairs to see if they were available for use. As long as you are aware of this and it is okay with you, then it is fine.

We loved everything about our stay at Santa Catalina suites! We booked the apartment with balcony on the second floor, and we had two balconies overlooking the bars of Cimadevilla. The air con was really quiet but very effective. Once the doors were shut you couldn't hear a thing from the bars below! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Communication from staff prior to and during our stay was great, they were so friendly and attentive. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Gijón! Thanks for a lovely stay 😊

We absolutely loved Santa Catalina Suites. The position in the old atmospheric part of town is unbeatable and we had a great balcony overlooking a lively plaza. The apartment was perfect in every way and we would recommend it 100%.

The communication with the owner was excellent via WhatsApp etc but it would have been nice to meet them to thank them personally for everything!

Great location. Very central to the Old Town and close to beaches and modern centre. Close to many lovely bars and restaurants. Comfy apartment, enjoyed the coffee machine. Host was great, keeping us informed and helped with queries. Booked late in the evening but got access information straight away. Bonus was being able to find on street parking close by and using the parking app was able to extend the parking online. 8.55 euros per day. Great place, would recommend.

I have stayed in their top floor suite and the place was specious and comfortable. There is a washing machine and dryer downstairs free to use for guests. You are in old town with easy access to water and many restaurants and bars. The place has AC, but I had to ask for it to be turned on.

The surrounding area is a bit noisy with many bars close by, but the top floor suites are very quiet.

Very neatly set up and secure. We found the place easy to find and very comfortable.

Parking was a bit stressfull. If a more formal arrangement with local parking could be set up for people that dont know their way around the town it would make the stay a bit better. we eventuaally found that pay and display parking on the street net to the river was the cheapest and easiest option
