The service was amazing, staff makes you feel part of the family! The overall hotel is great! They have yoga classes daily in a super quiet area where you can rest and read. The pool is amazing and even in the sharing bedrooms you have your own privacy! I will definitely repeat nomadic when and if I am back in Nosara :)

Everything was positive but it would be great if there would be a kitchen as many ‘sharing bedroom’ hotels have. Or ability to have a small fridge like in the private room. Is really hot in Costa Rica and it’s hard to keep things in the fridge. Anyway when I needed they fixed :) small details

The hotel is absolutely beautiful - has that perfect balance of laidback yet elevated. The staff are truly extraordinary. They are all so kind and helpful and just the loveliest people. The free breakfast is unbelievable!!! Nothing like the typical free hotel breakfast. This is made fresh from scratch and it’s something different everyday. It’s honestly shocking that it’s free! And the yoga classes are fantastic and they are free too!!! If you find yourself wanting to leave the hotel which is difficult because it so beautiful and relaxing, it is only a 5minute walk along a path through the jungle to the beach, restaurants and shops. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The atmosphere and decor of this hotel is bougie in the most pleasing way; I carved out time just to lounge in their sunken hammocks and swim in the stunning pool. The complimentary yoga and breakfast are both outstanding and make this hotel truly part of the vacation. The staff is friendly and worked hard to make my stay memorable, including helping me book activities and find dinner spots.

The prices in all of Costa Rica are high, so while the hotel is at market price for the area, it’s very expensive, as are the drinks and toiletries available for purchase. I stayed in the bunk room and it was comfortable, but I was the only one there for all but one night which made its value even better. It seems like it would be a bit cozy when it’s full during high season, though the more reasonable cost may be worth it still - there are plenty of beautiful areas in the hotel to lounge other than the sleeping area.

Amazing experience! The location is perfect, and the facilities are spotless and beautifully designed. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, especially Mariela, who truly made my stay exceptional, all the people who work there are unique thanks to Anthony , Levi, Silvi y Julia , kim , Cristel and Saúl. As a suggestion, I’d recommend adding a bit more music in common areas to enhance the ambiance and offering more yoga or animal flow classes at the hotel. Overall, an outstanding stay—I can’t wait to come back!

The Nomadic Hotel sets a new standard for hostel dorm stays. Unlike any other hostel I’ve been to, this one feels upscale yet effortlessly laid-back. The dorms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax. But the real standout? The staff. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Whether it’s local tips or just good vibes, Thony and Mariela make the experience exceptional. If you’re looking for a hostel that doesn’t feel like one—this is it.

Everything about this property, the staff, the culture, and people that stayed there was beautiful. Included breakfast was such a nice amenity, especially for a more budget traveler. The pool was clean and lush, it was a close walk to the beach, and the wifi was strong and consistent enough to get some good work done. Staff were super friendly and happy to chat, especially during the slower shoulder season (which also made the slower busy-ness of the property so comfortable)! Yoga classes in the shala were amazing and an awesome perk, as was the availability to use the free bicycles to get around... they even ride well on the beach! Definitely would recommend.

The dorm room had very little storage space (1 drawer per person) and no safe to lock up valuables. With it being less than half full while I was there and sharing with very mature and trustworthy people, I wasn't worried about it, but may have been less comfortable in a full room. The bathroom was so beautiful and large though!

this property was amazing! it’s a smaller hotel with not a ton of rooms so it’s not too loud or crowded which was nice! the staff was amazing and so incredibly helpful! there’s bikes for you to use to take down to the beach but even if you just walk it’s a super quick maybe 5 min walk. it’s super close to destiny cafe (which we are at 3x - it was great!). the breakfast at the hotel was super good and made to order (no buffet style!) and it was different each day which we appreciated! there’s yoga every day and the teachers were incredible! the soaps and toiletries in the room smelled amazing and were all organic and good for your skin! they also have umbrellas if you go during rainy season like we did. we were between this hotel and the Norte one and after visiting the Norte hotel we are sooooo glad we chose the nomadic hotel! the nomadic really gives a luxury yet homey feel! will stay here again next time around :)

there wasn’t a fridge in the room which was a bit of a bummer for us because we were traveling for 3 weeks in Costa Rica so we had gotten food for previous places where we had a kitchenette and we weren’t able to keep any of our refrigerated goods :/ but not really a big deal as long as you’re aware.

I had a great time here and I would definitely go back. The staff were friendly and kind. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and answer questions. I loved the close proximity to the beach, which was beautiful. The pool area was perfect for cooling off and relaxing at the end of a hot day. The common areas were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious. A very enjoyable stay!

The description says that there is a safe in the room and I was disappointed to discover that is not the case. I was given the option to store my valuables at the reception, but it closes at 5pm which is not so convenient. In the end, I decided to keep everything in the room and it was fine.

The design of the hotel is so gorgeous, with tons of common areas to sit in and enjoy. The included yoga class for guests was amazing, and the food was delicious. The staff were super helpful and the pool was wonderful.

The room (double queen beds) was a bit small for 3 adults and would be good if the property has more than 1 hairdryer. Additionally as the restaurant closes early we would have appreciated suggestions or a list of recommended restaurants nearby. Would also have been nice to know beforehand to bring our own beach towel as we had to buy one.

The Nomadic was an excellent place to stay in Nosara! We loved the breakfast every morning and the hotel was always quiet and peaceful. Great AC in the rooms too! We took advantage of the complimentary yoga classes and they were excellent! The location was walkable to everything and there were also bikes available, if you needed to go somewhere farther away. Great amenities for the value!

Sometimes the septic system was smelly, but this was usually only a problem at night. It wasn't all the time and seemed like something they were working on repairing. This hotel also does not include surfboard rentals, so my husband had to rent from other spots in town.
