It was so beautiful here ! Pictures could never do justice just how beautiful all the surrounding Oaks and the House was. The owners and their staff were just simply amazing. So friendly and so very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful ! Our room was so nice and so clean. Fully stocked with everything we could need for our stay. And on our last day me and my husband got a private guided tour of the mansion. We just loved it here and it was the highlight of our week long vacation.

We loved everything !

After some drive through quiet forest arriving in the middle of nowhere at at closed gate opened using a given code. Magic arrival evening after long drive from Texas. Beautiful views and atmosphere, and very private. Our (King bed) room was very comfortable and designed with good taste, and with great views in both sides. Two horses in the field outside balcony. The main mansion lying close towards other side. Our visit being in early January and also not in weekend, us being these days the only guests. Personal and engaged attention both by staff and by estate owners themselves. As example, given private guided tour at the estate. Quite a memorable visit.

(Breakfast was classy, with great atmosphere and personal service. Perhaps it could have default-contained some more item - if being used with "volumes" offered at less classy places... Staff was however checking up and fixed any request.)

The grounds and home were breathtaking. The staff , friendly and accommodating and the complimentary breakfast that was provided each morning was homestyle and prepared fresh daily. Also, a portion of the restaurant was open 24 hrs for complimentary snacks, water, and ice. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The complimentary tour of the mansion was so informative and interesting and Ms. Julie, Ms. Stacy, and Ms. Mary were so nice and pleasant and took time to get to know our family. We will be returning again and and again for the peace and tranquillity, the amazing views of the property, and the friendly staff that treated us as valued guests. The resident felines, Shady and Minou were a delight. Shout out to Woody, Greenwood’s canine little buddy, who insisted on tagging along for the tour with us. He is a sweet little guy. Love, love, love this place. I can’t say enough nice things about Greenwood Plantation B&B and the amazing experience we had there. We were also fortunate enough to meet some really cool guests from out of the country. Just a beautiful experience. ❤️ Thank you Greenwood.

What an amazing place! Right on the plantation area with a view on the main big house. Very comfortable room, nice. Breakfast and fantastic staff including the owner who will gladly tour you through the house and tell you about its rich history, including those where the house acted as a star in movies, most significant one being North and South with Patrick Swayze.

Could not think of one thing

A warm welcome and everything provided to make our stay really comfortable. The owners live on site and are incredibly friendly knowledgable and welcoming. Stacey and Mary who work there are full of "Southern Hospitality" and are both lovely. We were made to feel valued and welcome throughout our stay. I really can not fault it. It is off the beaten track a little. If peace and quiet is not what you want - then this place is not for you. However if you do want a taste of life on a plantation and want to sit in a rocking chair on the balcony and just enjoy the serene setting and listen to nature with no other man made noise..... Then go ahead and book.

OMG! DELICIOUS! They were so kind and so willing to make what we wanted. Four of us ate together in their beautiful gathering room. They offered grits - which were new to some, but so tasty when we tried the add in's that they recommended! More than willing to accommodate our needs! Even the Owner made sure we were full and enjoyed our meal

Not one thing! We will get the king size bed next time - but seriously the room was spacious, clean and well appointed - loved the robes! Perhaps a small corner table? - we like to play cards

Absolutely beautiful

Unfortunately when we arrived there was no water until about 2am due to external contractors breaking a pipe, so no shower or toilet flushing possible. Not the owners fault but a call to allow us the option of going elsewhere would have been good.

The staff was exceptional , anticipated every need and went out of their way to please. The grounds were very well kept and the mansion itself was breathtaking. The tour was great. Breakfast was wonderful each day.

My wife and I went for our 5th anniversary. Breakfast was amazing, and everyone on the staff was courteous and kind. The grounds and scenery were absolutely breathtaking! Definitely recommend, 10/10.

No issues, and we will definitely be back at some point in the future.

Breakfast was actually more than I could eat/ Loved the location- beautiful grounds, facilities, history(guided tour included), Owners on site made sure you had everything you needed and enjoying your stay! Advertising was exactly what we got!
