The location was perfect. Right next to the market and 8 minute walk from the zocolo. We had room 104. A few stairs to walk but no problem. The view was incredible. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was a bonus. Great service all round. The attached restaurant was amazing. I had the mole tamarinds ribs. Really top class food and again, the view was awesome. Having a fridge was super convenient.

If I had to say anything, it would be that the room can get warm but it was summer. The fan was a little weak on power but you can leave open the patio screen doors. Not a complaint. Just a suggestion. The breakfast included was ordinary. One day in was toasted bread and jam and the next day in was re heated pre toasted bread from those packets you see in Latin America. Free breakfast is free breakfast. It just didn't match the quality of every other detail in the hotel.

Location to el zócalo (Downtown) was very close, you just have to know your alleyways. Restaurant is upstairs, it's just a bit pricey. The mole Rosa is good, try it. Overall it's a good hotel, comfortable, great view. Just be prepared for the wifi situation if you don't have a good data plan on your phone.

The wifi at the hotel was complete garbage. You physically had to be close to the lobby to have good signal, that or go upstairs to the restaurant to have its wifi. We called the lobby and said they were going to fix it. Stayed the same. We needed it to use Google maps to plan getting around. They have to invest in putting routers/modems in each room like other hotels so signal is good.

Perfectly situated hotel with stunning views from multiple terraces. Lovely small pool. Beautifully decorated. The restaurant is one of the better ones in town and serves a nice variety of food until late. Have already come back a second time and would do so again any day.

Given the beauty and taste of the hotel otherwise, the free breakfast is just shockingly bad. Cold, stale toast with a plastic packet of margarine and jam. It’s already the cheapest thing on the menu, why not at least serve freshly toasted bread? Real butter? A decent serving of jam? It makes you look cheap and stingy and kind of kills the vibe of understated luxury the hotel otherwise has.

We got a king size bedroom with an balcony with an amazing view to the city and the church. The rooms are very comfortable, cozy and nice. The pool is nice and the view is amazing at the deck. The staff is very nice too.

The bar was on top of our room (303), so it was quite noisy, mainly when they closed and they moved all the tables and chairs late at night. The wifi was not working well and breakfast included with the room is just a very small portion of fruit, a cup of coffee and some bread, it would be nice to have at least some yogurt for the fruit.

OMG the VIEW!!!!! We had an amazing view of Taxco from our room! The location, the restaurant, the staff, it was definitely and experience to be had!!!

Well the bed is a bit firm to say the least, however most places while traveling in Mexico have had extremely firm beds. That's the only thing that I can even think would be an issue here.

The rooms are super clean! The bed was very comfortable and inviting. The location is great within walking distance to the Zocalo, parking is included. The restaurant is very nice, the food quality/presentation and the service were great.

Smoking shouldn’t be allowed inside the premises... My room smelled like cigarettes when I arrived… :( I had to leave the balcony glass door open for a few hrs., by then the smell was gone.

Great views, comfortable bed, lots of space, fridge, helpful staff, good restaurant on site, good location.

The toilet seat was rusted and loose and I almost fell off a few times; the hot water faucet in the shower was also loose, it fell off once and barely missed my toes. I needed to ask for a fan, but the staff brought me one.

Views from every section if the hotel and attention of staff was amazing. Location is excellent

Showers were falling apart and we couldn't use both showers at the same time as one would not have enough water. Restaurant was a bit expensive and food was not up to the price.

Just spent two lovely nights in Taxco. The hotel was very cute, clean and comfortable. We had a junior suite and requested a view, which they were kindly able to accommodate. The views from our small balcony were incredible. The pool area was great and the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. A basic continental breakfast was included, but we opted to order additional dishes off the menu. The refrijoladas and sopes were both delicious. It is not a few minutes from the Zocalo, but the city is steep and hilly, so be prepared for that with sensible shoes. The service was friendly and helpful. It was also a perfect location for the Saturday silver Markey as if I’d equidistant from the bus station and main square/cathedral.

Everything was great. The wifi was a little slow, but that was true in most of Taxco.

I highly recommend this place. Best sleep I ever got during this trip, bed was comfy and I was provided an electric fan when I asked. I got a room one level down which was quiet and homey. Didn't have a window but I wasn't too bothered. The attached restaurant has a superb view of Santa Frisca and is a very relaxing place to sit and soak in the sun. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. The hotel reception was also able to organize a tour at short notice. Best of all is location, location, location. The hotel is walkable to both Costa and Estrella de Oro bus terminals (especially Costa) and is very walkable to the main plaza. Also, the toiletries are really good smelling.

The shower drains slowly. The hotel should call the plumber. I didn't bother to complain because I was only staying a night.
