The setting of this hotel is spectacular, with wonderful archetechture. I stayed in the golf lodge which was contemporary and comfortable with superb facilities and a little private terrace.
The lights at the entrance could remain on for a little longer and some more coffee and milk would have been perfect. If i were really being picky, some english breakfast tea too ;)

It was an unforgettable three days of relaxation in this beautiful hotel. The location is simply gorgeous, around the castle there is nature as in the pictures, clean air, beautiful birdsong, a nice and comfortable room, delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere and the best staff. We had the most wonderful weekend stay at this marvellous property. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Nastasia who was incredibly friendly and happy to accommodate our needs during our stay. The family history at the castle is remarkable.

The property was in a great countryside location (station to Cologne accessible within 20 minutes walk), especially if you have a car. The property had lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. The gym is comprehensive and the place has great history. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful historic building, unique setting and only 20-30 mins from Koln Airport. Excellent, helpful staff especially Tatiana and Dirk. Very good breakfast and food options for dinner also very good.

No elevator, it is 14th century schloss. If you have a heavy luggage, it is a challenge to move it in/out.
