Great location to walk into the town. Peaceful courtyard - lovely for breakfast and nice and sunny but with ample shade in the afternoon or for an early evening aperitif. Very clean, spacious room. Excellent staff.
We booked a ground floor room with terrace. The terrace wasn’t private as the manager accessed the office via a side door. This meant that for privacy the curtains had to be drawn, which was a shame as terrace was enclosed and lovely. Also it meant the room was quite dark. I would return but choose a room on an upper floor. The courtyard is lovely - a suggestion would be to include a few comfy chairs for people to sit and read.

We absolutely loved our stay at Maison de Lucie. Even before arriving, when I was making arrangements, the level of kindness and care we experienced from François and Hadji was different to any other hotels we stayed in while in France. They helped advise about parking and restaurants and François even liaised with another guest to arrange a swap for his ground floor room so that my mother, in a wheelchair, could access it. When we arrived, Agathe was incredibly friendly and offered to come in our car to help us find the private parking along hilariously tiny streets we’d never have dared attempt without her. Throughout our stay, at every point, François was there, smiling and offering to help, and this made a huge difference, especially as we were travelling with someone whose mobility was limited. And then there was the hotel itself! From the moment you enter the gate, you realise you’re somewhere special. The courtyard, dappled in the sunlight, was peaceful and inviting after exploring the busy streets of Honfleur, and as for the rooms and communal areas, it’s the type of hotel where you find you’re photographing everything, from the gleaming wood staircase and the vase of colourful hydrangeas to the etched glass by the bath and even the tiles on the bathroom floor! Everything has been so very beautifully chosen. Room 4 on the second floor is light and airy and very comfortable – with swifts flying overhead and a blackbird singing in the trees outside our windows. A mention also for whoever did the cleaning, which was at that level where you return to find everything immaculate and all your dreadfully scattered things artistically arranged! We couldn’t imagine a nicer place to be in Honfleur and highly recommend this lovely hotel.
We really loved the breakfast - croissants and bread, delicious jams and wonderful coffee - but if you're looking for something more elaborate, you might prefer going into the town.

Wonderful location! A true gem in the beautiful city of Honfleur. Staff was super friendly and accommodating! Their demeanor was "tres jolie!". Charming room with terrace was super comfy! Little private entry off street - made it easy to come and go. Charming and delicious breakfast served in the courtyard. Three other rooms to relax in as needed. Great walk to location with parking close by. We loved this place and would stay again!
There wasn't enough shelf space. The closet had two hanging areas, but only one had hangers and they were the annoying kind you can not remove. The lower portion of the closet should be shelved.

This historic hotel was the absolute best! It was one of the highlights of my three week stay in France. .It was beautiful and every room was appointed with such attention to detail.. There were so many thoughtful choices made in the design of this amazing hotel. The bedrooms had blackout blinds behind the beautiful drapes and the lights dimmed in the bedroom so that you could create the ambience of your choice. The shower was luxurious with ample hot water and pressure. There were flesh flowers in every room. It had a beautiful courtyard. We reserved a parking space in their convenient, gated, private parking lot, The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They made reservations at local restaurants for us. They were always there to offer a smile and make us feel welcome. I would give this hotel ten stars if I could. It was so charming, beautiful, well-located and perfect in every way. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Honfleur stay at this memorable, historic hotel. You will love it!
I loved everything about this hotel!

The architecture and sympathetic furnishings. The beautiful shaded terrace is a quiet respite moments from the center. The quirky furnishings, silver service, fresh flowers and location. The amazing front of house team who speak English and were so very helpful with parking when we arrived on one of the busiest days of the year! A pleasure we so welcomed at every stage of our short stay.
Nothing. Be aware it’s a beautiful location but on a slight hill in a typical old city so rather narrow. Ask the team where to park nearby more readily if this concerns you. It’s so worth it to be able to stay in such luxury.

La Maison de Lucie is a well kept and immaculately appointed bed and breakfast hotel very close to the popular centre of Honfleur. It is close enough to be part of the old city but far enough away to be clear of the crowds. The courtyard as you enter is shady and breathtakingly calm. The public rooms downstairs are varied and interconnecting and all wonderfully furnished with great style and taste. There is a warm welcome from the proprietor who is always willing to help with booking restaurants and giving advice. In cooler weather the ample continental breakfast is served at low tables scattered throughout the downstairs rooms. In warm weather the more traditional tables in the courtyard are used. The breakfast tray was full of varied and high quality pastries and jams. It was more than adequate. Coffee and teas refilled on request. We reserved a space in the hotel's small carpark a few streets away. This costs a little extra but if you can I would advise taking advantage of it. It's a complicated drive (guided by the proprietor) to get from check-in to the car park but a very short walk back to the hotel. Our bedroom was comfortable and airy and tastefully furnished. The bathroom and shower were very good if a little quirky. We thoroughly enjoyed two nights here and a full day in Honfleur.
Parking might be difficult if you don't use the hotel's car park. We did see streets nearby where you could park. Our bathroom door was difficult to close securely.

Everything 😉 from the moment we arrived and greeted by the hosts (I should have got their names) they know who they are❤️ The property is stunning, beautiful walled garden full of character and charm. You then walk into the most amazing luxury, every room oozing with charm, everything that helps make your stay amazing is there. We had breakfast by the big log fire in the lounge, even that was a gorgeous experience. The hotel is a stones throw from the town of Honfleur which has got to be one of the nicest we have been to in France. The harbour is full of lovely restaurants and bars and the town is full of gorgeous boutiques. Truly a 5 star experience and worth every penny ❤️
Nothing we didn’t like ❤️

Charming & stylish accommodation well located just a short walk from the bustling Honfleur harbour. Our room had a private courtyard. There was also a delightful shady courtyard area within the walls of La Maison De Lucie where guests took breakfast. The hosts were very helpful, escorting us to their private parking area, changing dinner reservations & importantly sharing some valuable suggestions for a very scenic driving route along the Seine to Rouen.

Superb hosts who have clearly worked very hard to refurbish an old town house in to a very tastefully renovated and well furnished and decorated property. We stayed on the second floor of the town house which had good views across their garden and countryside to the rear and to the front looked across to the historic church. Really comfortable and large double bed with plenty of room around the bed to move around. A large walk in shower and separate toilet completed the well appointed ‘apartment’ which was really comfortable. Again, a big shout out to the hosts who spoke very good English, provided a good breakfast and were willing to engage in conversation about all of the extraordinary work they have done to the property.
Can’t think of a single thing to criticise. Equally, there are no suggested improvements as the property is superbly appointed and maintained to a very high standard.

What a fabulous place to stay. You wonder up through the cobbled town and arrive at the most beautiful hotel. The courtyard is stunning and a great place to have a glass of wine or 2. We had the court yard room. It was surprisingly private. A great sized room and a fab shower! The staff were lovely and welcoming throughout our whole stay. On one of the mornings, we had breakfast at the hotel. We had this just outside our room in the courtyard, which was excellent.
There wasn’t anything negative to say. There isn’t any parking attached to the hotel but that’s one of the special parts about the town. With its narrow cobbled streets, the town has such history hence limited parking in the old part of town.
