Location is fantastic, a quick walk to both the train station and the main part of the city center, with all of the historic locations to visit. Staff is friendly and very helpful: the concierge gave me an excellent dinner recommendation. Room was spotlessly clean. Bed was quite comfortable. Check-in was ready when I arrived at 3PM and with check-out at 12noon, it felt like I was getting a great deal for the nightly rate. Room was on the larger side and having the table was very comfortable. The mini-fridge with free drinks (5, including soda, beer, etc.) was a really nice benefit when I arrived after a long train ride.

Shower could use a deep scrub with a bleach soak, as it looked like there is some light mildew buildup over time on the shower floor. My room was on the 1st floor hallway, which meant some noise as folks walked around. I was very pleased with my chocie to stay there during my time in Luneburg.

We loved the hotel and location. Superb quality restaurants and shopping are just steps outside the hotel. Spotless and quiet room. Loved our view from the window on the riverside. Have stayed her multiple times.

Someone in maintenance entered our room at the most inconvenient time without knocking. It was highly upsetting. We reported the incident to the front desk, and were told they would follow up, but they didn't. This was an isolated incident as we placed the 'do not distrub' sign on our door afterwards for the remainder of our stay.

Location was perfect, right at the river and minutes walk to the center of town, room was very spacious with a nice view, the sauna was small but nice (and free for guests), they didn't charge us for having an extra bed setup for our son which was nice.

Beds and pillows were a bit too soft for my taste (pillows were the fluffy down kind that basically become flat).

Excellent location and accommodation within short walk of town without being in the thick of it! Excellent nearby park for dog. Superb two night’s stay.

Windows are not double glazed so some music crept in at night but didn’t bother us as it was great! Also music stopped before 11pm.

We loved that it was in the middle of everything, yet at night when we closed the window, the room was very quiet which we love! We are from the United States and a friend living near Hamburg recommended Luneburg and we absolutely adored the city and the hotel. It was like being in the middle of a story book.

We were disappointed on Tuesday morning when we wanted hot water for coffee and there were no clean cups by the machine in the hotel lobby. :-(

Great location in the centre of the town and overlooking the river. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms, free mini-bar, very clean and well-maintained. helpful staff, great breakfast.

Magnetic car park exit pass did not work, had to walk back to the hotel to resolve. I suspect this is a frequent problem.

Perfect location, great view from the room, parking nearby, good breakfast. Excellent place to stay in the centre of the city

Nice hotel in a beautiful city. Close to the river and the old town. Super friendly staff, great room, comfy bed, snacks in the lobby and even got an upgrade for a bed with river view for free.

There could be more vegan options on the breakfast buffet

Staff at the front desk when we check in was super nice and kind. Location, good. 10 minutes walk from Bahnhof and 5 minutes to city center.

Reception staff very unfriendly. Interrupted check-in process to attend other guests. Unwilling to explain accommodation and room types. Indicated to call a number on the bottom a letter that was then handed over, so that she ´can go back to her work´! She also did not give any information on breakfast or wifi. Certainly not the welcome you expect in such a hotel and for such a rate.
