(1) ROOM: The room was spacious, clean. The bed was comfortable along with running hot and cold water. (2) PROPERTY: The property was awesome, located in the midst of nature. The best thing is its close proximity to the beach. Our room had a good view of the beach. So, just sitting in the balcony and enjoying the sea-view was very relaxing for us. Also the outdoor adventure park within the property is good not only for children, but also for evening walks for adults. One plus side of the proximity beach is that we could go to the beach anytime we wanted. (3) RESTAURENT: The restaurant was very good with awesome Veg and Non-veg food along with an awesome view of the sea while eating food. (4) STAFF: Both restaurant staff and house-keeping staff are very cordial and helpful. CONCLUSION: Although this resort is a little away from the main city of Gokarna, one can easily setup here and visit Gokarna by car from here. I would very much recommend this resort for a relaxing retreat, just enjoying the food and the sea.

Location - Right next to beach . I felt all other beaches in gokarna are not that great compared to this, due to its close proximity easy access and private. Gokarna beach is near to mahabaleshwar temple but not that worth where you can spend lot of time. Om beach , kudle etc are approx 30 + kms from here if you go via your own car through highway as the shorter route requires a ferry to cross the sea which is only possible via two wheelers. Also these beaches needs a kind of trek to climb down stairs and reach.. Again my personal opinion not worth as no shacks.. Namaste cafe at kudle beach is overrated , food was really bad. Facilities - Rooms were cleaner and the resort has a natural vibe with lots of peacocks to watch as a bonus . Service - special mention to restaurant Staff person @ Bapi , he was really helpful and quick. food is also of good quality and taste here.

They can increase the overall size of bed as if you have a kid below 3 years you might require an extra bed .

The location of the resort was just like the way we wanted, it was very close to beach. The restaurant was beach facing. Well maintained, friendly staff, delicious food, clean rooms , bathrooms, towels and even curtains. We were lucky to wake up to peacock sound & also lucky to spot a few inside the location. Every bit of the resort amazed us. We have enjoyed our stay and truly recommend to our friends as well.

Friendly staff and well maintained rooms...very close to beach, so can play in the water all day and come back to the room to freshen up. Faucets located near the room entrance to wash legs and enter the room, so there is no issue of sand getting into the rooms. Staff will replenish water bottles in the room whenever you want.

Restaurant seemed to have only North Indian food options like Roti, naan, north indian sabzi for lunch and dinner. Would be good if there was stuff like Dosa, Idli, Upma also..

The place is so calming and relaxing .. the name says it all Om Bodhi = Peace. And nothing else. We will always remember this stay and will definitely be coming back here. They have pet friendly accommodation as well. So yes, we will definitely be coming back here with my dog. The staff are very good, helpful and courteous. Had a chance to meet the owner as well and he too was very welcoming and we really appreciated the job he is doing.

The resort is well maintained and its proximity to the beach is the best thing.We could spend quality time with kids and other family members at the beach and come back to the room to freshen up.Restaurant is fully functional and serves good Breakfast, lunch and dinner.Menu is quite ok and has necessary items for the 3 course.Dininig area is again in front of the beach so you can enjoy your food while watching and listening to the waves.The staff is very helpful and provided us with everything we asked for.Rooms were nicely maintained and the bathroom has all necessary stuff.The attached balcony is very useful to just relax and also useful for drying clothes which is sometimes a big struggle at other places.Overall it's a quite,calm and peaceful place to just relax and charge yourself up.You can carry your drinks and they will assist you with chiller box and ice and additionally all the rooms have mini refrigerators.Snacks and sides can be ordered from kitchen.Drinks are not allowed in closed dining area but only beach facing sit out.

Breakfast can be arranged as a buffet otherwise if the resort is fully occupied things get late and sometimes missed.Early morning a good spread out breakfast is always a boost and feel good factor for the guests on vacation.

A lovely place! The pics posted on booking do not really do justice to the place. It has a beach side restaurant, on days when it's not raining one can sit outside on the sandy premises outside the restaurant and enjoy a meal, there are both independent cottages as well as rooms. We could hear and see the peacocks roaming around. The staff were very courteous and the food was lip smacking good. Would love to go back.

The Stay @ Om Bodhi was just too amazing All parts of the Stay, room , cleanliness, security of ladies, food was well taken care of. What I particularly liked was the private access to the pool. Last but not the least, the staff is too friendly, prompt and very service. 5 on 5 and Stay was worth a 5 star.

Nothing as such

The staff were all brilliant. Even with the language barrier they was super helpful and always had a smile on there face both owners was really nice as well. helped us with onward travel. The yoga hear was amazing for a first timer so my partner says. Ask for Mari at reception they will point you in the right direction. The beach is the main attraction we felt like we was on Mars for the full 6 nights spending pretty much all of our time on the beach we must have only seen between 50 and 100 people that's 5 miles of beach! 6 nights and only that meany we walked for 4 and a half hours one day and seen no one. Its unbelievable its like you have left india. The gardens are lovely I'm a photographer so I was out finding birds and butterfly's while my partner was doing her yoga. You can see dolphins from the beach every day if you look carefully. We actually loved our stay. It's a do nothing and just relax place but if you need some you time stop hear.

Not that we had any problems just some helpful tips as I'd like to no as a fellow traveller. If you don't like the odd insect. ( like us wimps from england) I strongly recomended booking the new builds near the reception we stayed there for 5 nights and never had a problem we asked if we could move and they kindly helped us feel at ease... I'm also a very fussy eater the food menu was a big issue for me I had the same meals every day that got very boring after a week and there's nowhere els to get food really. The food we did buy was excellent I'd just personally like more choice and I'm only putting a truthful review to hopefully make this place even better 😀 If your reading this please stay and thank Me later.
