I ate dinner in the bar in the evening and it was lovely (the views would have been lovely but it was wintertime so it was dark) the staff were really nice on reception and in the bar area-No problem with the hotel whatsoever (The Drift Inn pub next door is really nice if you fancy a local drink somewhere different) it’s a bit of a walk into the town if you’re elderly/disabled but there seemed to be enough taxis about for anyone wanting to check out the town

It was the 1st time I’d stayed there but I’d definitely go back because it was really lovely-couldn’t find anything to dislike

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed 3 nights and the scenery was just stunning from the resturant.(well the whole County of Donegal is beautiful!) The food was delicious too. I enjoyed the swimming pool every morning before our "big breakfast. " I even treated myself to the "Relax me" treatment in the Seagrass Wellbeing centre. It was a tranquil and relaxing centre and Megan was a great therapist. My parents and aunt (in their 80's) with me enjoyed their stay very much and would love to come back.

The girl that checked us in was so welcoming and helpful which was really nice because we hadn't been there before, I didn't get her name but she had glasses. The room was lovely and clean and we had a great nights sleep, such comfy beds. We dined in the bar that evening and the food was delicious too, I got the chicken supreme. Also in the morning we got a fantastic spread for breakfast well worth the price and the views were an added bonus. One other thing I noticed, staff brought the tea out just before we sat down wereas other hotels we've stayed at always bring it out way too early and it gets cold so this was the first place I've been to that the tea wasn't cold! 😂Top marks.

Everything was great I only wish there was bottled water in the rooms like most hotels now, but that wasn't a big issue. I wish there was a water cup fountain for the sauna users, there is water available but it is 1.50 euro a bottle. This definitely wouldn't put me off coming back though as overall it was a lovely stay in a beautiful area.

We stay here every year the last 9 years staff amazing very accommodating lovely hotel stayed for 2 nights however on the Saturday night got no sleep as there was bus loads of girls down with teachers and they were running around the hotel at night kicking doors knocking on them this was after the porter had told them to stop no respect for any guests that was staying there we never got a wink of sleep because the noise and the kicking and banging of doors was horrendous very disappointed as us as a family got up and left the hotel in the morning reported this to the staff and yes they opoligised but left us furious as a family there was lots of other guests aswell was in the same boat as ourselves

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful especially Ricardo on the front desk and Rory in the bar. Lovely guys. Angela who was in charge of the breakfast was really nice & helpful.

The trolly to bring your luggage in was had very small wheels which made hard to wheel on the carpet. There was NOT enough wheelchair parking spaces.

The room was spotless, adequately furnished, plenty of towels and toiletries, lovely views of the sea. Breakfast was delicious and varied overlooking the sea and golf course. Dinner in the bar was reasonable! All the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and made our stay very comfortable and welcoming.

We didn't have any complaints, however more wardrobe and drawer space would have been helpful and also a small fridge and some herbal teas.

Room was spotless clean reception staff welcoming and breakfast staff welcoming too 😁👌

Understaffed in restaurant and bar staff not many on busy day we choose house specials and turkey and ham was cold asked for extra gravy never came back with it!! The Roast beef was warmer but not much and potatoes underneath was freezing.. Disappointed by food but everything else was perfect

The Hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The food was lovely we ate in bar both nights of our stay The breakfast was delicious , such a treat to not have to make your own toast lol .

The bedroom was cold in evenings when we would have returned to our room after having our tea. we would have went up to room to relax and watch tv but found it cold while sitting. Probably had weather been warmer outside it wouldnt have been a problem.

The staff made sure we could get some breakfast earlier than the usual breakfast time because we were heading off to catch an early ferry. We happened to mention it to the nice lady on reception when we first arrived that we were unable to attend the 8 o'clock breakfast sitting. She said that she would ask a member of the team to make the facilities available to us, it wasn't the usual cooked breakfast but we could help ourselves to cereal and they could do us some toast if we needed it. Very kind of them. Many thanks.

The location is amazing and the views and layout are fab.

Bathroom in our room could really do with a makeover There were 3 of us all Housekeeping supervisors so we picked up things that most normal people wouldn’t care about or notice🤣 dusting wouldn’t be a bad idea and there was bits of rubbish under the beds. This is not a complaint as I said it’s just us looking for stuff and not being able to switch our supervisor heads off.
