Breakfast was great. Loved the fact that it was included in the price. The selection was very good. The tables were cleaned so quickly - ready for the next guest!

No Irish Television channels! Yes, thats right! Although not strictly in the Republic Of Ireland - RTE TV Channels should be freely available in Northern Ireland. Yet, none avaiable anywhere in the hotel? Make sure to ask at the Desk - WHERE ARE THE IRISH TELEVISION CHANNELS?

The staff were first class. Christine, who booked us in, was very friendly. Nothing was a bother, and she gave us plenty of information about Derry. We had a few drinks in the bar, and the manager was great craic. A local from the Bogside, he was a wealth of information on where to go out in the city. Every member of staff we came in contact with were exceptionally helpful. The friendliest staff I've ever met, great people.

I love everything about the hotel it's spotless rooms and beds are very comfortable. I could just spend my day in the room as it's so welcoming. Love all the staff so very very helpful in anyway. Breakfasts are lovely, and the food dinner is very nice too, plenty of drink selection as well. All and all I just love staying in the holiday inn hotel and I love the bars round it but don't go in on my own so I stay in the hotel and enjoy all going on.

I have no complaints with my stay, it is a really homely very friendly hotel. The staff are so lovely and are always very attentive if you need anything they are a great help in every way. I could not say anything bad about the hotel and staff I enjoy all my weekend stays and am looking forward to my next one.

Room was lovely, beds extremely comfortable, great location. Food reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and kept flowing! Staff were very friendly.

Thought the actual breakfast lay-out area was rather tight and dangerous. When people collected around coffee areas and toast machine, they made it difficult for both customers and staff alike. Staff were constantly coming in and out of the kitchen to customers barring their way, which makes it rather dangerous when they are carrying hot bain-marie trays! Also, it made it restrictive for other customers to gain access to areas they were trying to access. Personally, I think if the coffee machines and toaster are placed where the cereals are currently located, it would possibly make for a smoother run! I know your breakfast provision is new, so it's a learning curve! 🙂

The most amazing thing was our bed. It was huge and was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The hotel’s location is central to all places if interest and amenities.

Breakfast was what you’d expect for an Express hotel and for the most part was fine. It would be nice if they also provided boiled eggs for those of us who cannot have scrambled eggs due to milk allergy. Milk alternatives were provided on request but you need to bring your own plant based margarine for toast etc.

The staff were exceptional and friendly and I felt looked after. Well done to everyone.

The design of the room was grand, with the hooks on the wall and mod cons like connecting your phone to the TV. My one common complaint with a lot of hotels is atrocious lighting for ladies doing their make up. Ok, I don't expect all hotels to have a magnifying mirror but putting downlights over the main mirror in the room plunges your face in darkness. At least 50% of your clientele are females and a huge amount of us wear make up. Please look after us with decent make up lighting.

Location-great pub opposite & everywhere within walking distance. Room was spotless & even had ironing board & iron. Bathroom had soap, shower gel & shampoo. Room was quiet-second floor & really speedy lifts. Breakfast times from 6.30am during week & selection was great. Appreciated bowl.of natural.yoghurt & fruit compote standing on crushed ice. Along with jug of iced water. Good coffee machine. Husband rated sausages & bacon for quality. We get up early & there was plenty of choice & free tables. 🙂

Location is perfect and it’s walking distance to everything. It was ideal for us as we were attending a conference in the Millennium Hall. Parking can be paid for in the Quayside car park across the road and it’s £12 per day, payable at their desk, and it was ideal. The staff in the hotel are exceptionally kind and when we had a question or issue they had an answer or remedy immediately. The breakfast is ideal, simple and a good selection of everything you might like. I loved how you could make a takeaway tea or coffee and bring it with you as you head off out for the day.

We had booked for 3 adults and while it was comfortable it was definitely tight for space when you consider the space for bags for 3 adults also.

Staff were very quick to check us in, very polite and helpful Breakfast was delicious and great choice for everyone Location was perfect, with getting to the hotel from the train station and then out and around the city centre

The toilets in the lobby weren't in use so we always had to go up 2 the room (3rd floor) everytime we needed to use the bathroom while we were havin food and drinks at the hotel You only get one pillow per person, and u can almost see through them that they are that thin

The staff were so friendly and approachable, we were made to feel welcome and a special mention of the female duty manager,Bernie who was just very well mannered and helpful.Also, the staff in the breakfast area were lovely as was the foyer cleaning lady.

I'm a cleaner and my sister had dropped a ring so I got down to look under the bed, it was not clean, there was wrappers from previous guests there and the tray where the tea cups were hadn't been wiped/cleaned.
