Guy on reception who did a last minute booking for our niece and also did an excellent job of welcoming us to the hotel, a special heartfelt thank you to Martin in the bar who went beyond His duties with our young children in the family, what he didn’t know it was our daddy’s anniversary who left us at new year last year, a particularly poignant time for us and he made our stay x

The hotel is less than 10 mins drive from the city centre, getting in and out of the city was very convenient. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent and the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and (mostly) comfortable.
There was an issue with the hotel heating system during our stay, which left us without heat in our room for 2 of the 4 nights, in the restaurant for 2 nights and in the foyer from time to time. I had to request extra bedding to keep warm, as the weather had turned colder too. I acknowledge that this was unforeseen and was being worked on during our stay. It's the only downside to a lovely holiday break. (PS, the open fire in the bar was toasty warm!l

Everything, it was beautiful. It was decorated for Christmas very festival from the moment you walked in the door. Marty was amazing in the pub! Elaine , our server for breakfast was fabulous and friendly! The young man at the front desk was very helpful for anything we needed and any questions we needed answered. I felt like it was definitely a four star experience. Breakfast was very good! Dinner was absolutely delicious. Cheers to the chef from Monday night. I would definitely stay here again. I wish I would’ve stayed two nights instead of one.
I cannot think of one negative

THE ROOMS WERE EXCELLENT AND LUNCH AND DINNER WERE ALSO EXCELLENT. NICE SETTING BUT COULD DO WITH A SLIGHTLY BIGGER BAR ESPECIALLY IF THEY ASK YOU TO LEAVE THE WINE BAR AT 10:30 AFTER A MEAL! WOULD GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO A TRAINEE MEMBER OF STAFF, NIAMH, WHO WAS A RAY OF SUNSHINE AND WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO APOLOGISE FOR A MORE SENIOR MEMBER OF STAFF.
BREAKFAST WAS A BIT MEDIOCRE AND SERVICE WASN'T AS GOOD AS THE LUNCHTIME AND EVENING. DIDN'T LOOK HALF READY AND THAT WAS WITH US GOING FOR BREKFAST IN THE LATER HALF OF THE WINDOW. STAFF AT BREAKFAST WERE A BIT SURLY AS WERE ONE OR TWO OTHERS, ALMOST RESENTLFUL OF YOU BEING THERE. DIFFICULT TO NEGOTIATE THE ROUNDABOUT DURING PEAK HOURS.

We stayed in the junior suite! Probably one of the nicest rooms weve ever stayed in! We will defiantly be back next time we are up that direction! Lovely hotel! Staff were friendly and helpful! Thankyou!
Food and drink was delicious but we felt it was quite overpriced. The biggest issue was the smart t.v in our room. It was a little dated and we were having trouble connecting our phones to the t.v to play music through Spotify. We used YouTube on the t.v instead, but the videos buffered quite a lot and there were many ad breaks which was a bit of a nuisance! The internet connection was on and off! Couldn't get the speaker system working either! It wouldn't put us off coming back though! We still had a great time!

The staff were amazing, namely Stephanie on reception and Martin in the bar. Two professionals through and through and absolutely wonderful hosts, a real credit to the hotel. Bed was comfy, room was nice. Lobby and bars were lovely too and location was very handy.
I had paid an extra £30 for upgrade to a deluxe room which was supposed to have complimentary bathrobe and slippers. Neither were present. Was also supposed to have USB-C charging ports (more than one) and I couldn't find any. I also paid £22 for a bottle of pinot grigio and strawberries in the room for our arrival, and while the wine was there, the strawberries were not! I didn't raise this at the time because we were rushing to get into the city for the jazz festival, but I was very disappointed with not getting all of the features. I had paid for.

Large room, clean, quiet, modern decoration in reception and hallways. Really friendly and chatty staff. Two rooms beside each other. Large free carpark. Great location for Derry airport. Beside Foyle Bridge, to get quickly to Donegal, too. Yet really quiet, no road traffic noise.
No gym facilities. Have stayed in smaller hotels that managed to have free weights, workout area/room for a stretch and routine. Snug /bar, really small and hidden away, with no views of the lovely trees that surround the hotel, yet restaurant huge.

Receptionist had a very welcoming and friendly manner, the room was clean and comfortable. The bar master was a true Gentleman, made time for a nice chat whilst still giving prompt service to a lot of customers. All in all a pleasant stay.
The hotel met my expectations, so it is difficult to pick faults. A fresh bottle of water in the room would be nice although tea. coffe and biscuits are each room. Super busy hard working staff, but maybe a little short staffed.

We arrived at hotel and check in was very quick and smoothly done. Room was lovely and clean. We had a drink in the snug bar then we needed to get to the town centre and reception very kindly arranged a taxi. As we had never been to the town before the woman on reception very kindly gave us a few suggestions for places to eat! She also gave us the taxi number so we could get sorted coming back again. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be back.
