This is a lovely spot with a great view over the lough. Marie is a very attentive host and keen to make the stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful dining room. Our bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size. We walked into town one night and walked back along the riverside park which was magical. Thanks Marie, for your hospitality.

Our bathroom was for our exclusive use however it wasn't an ensuite so we had to go out into the hall to access it. The bathroom itself was beautiful and huge so it wasn't a problem but It would have been good to know this ahead of time.

The location was great & has on site parking.Its a very lovely house & Marie made us feel very welcome & she also gave us an upgrade. Marie also recommended places to eat in town & suggestions on which way to go as when we left. The room was lovely and big with a great view.The shower was lovely & hot,the bed was comfortable. For breakfast you had the choice of either continental or a cooked breakfast.

Not much to complain about here,only found the pillows were uncomfortable for us.

Check-in was really nice and friendly - hosts very welcoming. Shared good information about the amenities in the town - pubs/restaurants, etc. Lovely location with amazing views. We travelled on motorbikes, and there was a good area for parking, behind the house, off-street, which was reassuring. Great sized room. I'd happily stay there again.

I'd prefer to have option to have breakfast a little later (latest was 0930am). No other negative comments at all, and the breakfast was very nice.

Lovely room with an amazing view over Lough Swilly in a quiet spot just a short walk from town and you could walk through the lovely river gardens from there. Friendly hosts and great parking too, it was a lovely stop off on our tour

Everything! My wife and I travel extensively and the Caldra B&B is one of the most beautiful and overall lovely places on the planet! They remembered us though our last visit there was several years ago. Location beautiful, spotless clean, delicious breakfast, magnificent host and hostess!

Stayed here on our motorcycle tour of Ireland. Parked our motorcycles out of sight around the side of the property. Had to leave very early so the proprietor kindly made us a breakfast before we left. 20 mins walk into town for beer and curry. Usual friendly locals, very pleasant.

Extremely elegant comfortable property & the hostess was a delight. We arrived after a downpour & she arranged drying of our wet clothes & even put the heating on so we could dry our gloves etc on the radiators. Breakfast was extremely good. Would stay there again.

The actual facilities were exceptionally good and the views over Lough Swilly and the hills around Buncrana were amazing. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They served a wide ranging breakfast that was hearty and generous. The bedrooms are very large and more than adequate for the average family.

Lovely clean home. We were made very welcome. Facilities and food were excellent. Could not have asked for better. The views from the front of the house are stunning.
