Breakfast was excellent in the beautiful ballroom. Staff were all courteous and we were able to get an extra hour before checking out. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel is in the centre of the village and right next to the beach.

Our room was above the nightclub but as it was new year's eve we were fine with this. Plus when we booked the room it did say it was above the nightclub and a a lower cost than other rooms. The bedroom window handle was broke so could only open one window.

This was our favorite stop on our two week Ireland trip. the location was central and a quick walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and bars. The hotel offers breakfast and has a restaurant and bar on sight which could be booked in advanced with reception.

GPS can be confusing so just note parking is in the back of the building and can be entered between the shop & neighboring restaurant. Signs are located in the lot.

Location is excellent. Central for exploring around Donegal. Food is great, staff were brilliant. Close to 2 local bars, the Tramore and Harbour, both of which are excellent. Tramore has a great pizza restaurant attached. Hotel is beside a nice beach and within walking distance of the spectacular Tramore beach. Have stayed here before and will be doing si again.

Not a great selection for gluten free at the Thursday night supper club but breakfast was great.

Very relaxing hotel and surroundings.Staff so nice and friendly except for 1 person second morning of breakfast service.

Did not like ther was a party of 10 of us.3 double rooms booked thru hotel Wer 340 euro.And myself and another couple were booked through urselves and was 400 euros.That was a big difference of 120 euros, would actually put u off booking again with urselves.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and the hotel was a good location for sightseeing.

Unfortunately, on our first night of the stay, Wednesday 3rd April, there was a disco at the night club on the premises. The noise travelled to our room and the fire alarm was set off twice after midnight; due to smoke/dry ice from the night club. Had we known about the night club, we would have chosen a different night for our stay.

Very comfortable and clean room. Very good food with a good selection on the menu. The location was very central in the town and only 50 yards from a world class beach.

The impression given was the hotel had its own pool which was not the case, the pool being in a community centre near by.

Loved the location , old style decor with moderation. Very pretty. Lovely staff very friendly and helpful

I didn’t like that the swimming pool was a car journey away . On booking . Com it says swimming pool. But reading on the website it does state the pool is the local leisure centre

Dinner was very nice and breakfast was plentiful with a buffet. It was great value

The only thing was the hall sensor light kept going on and off with people returning to their rooms through the night- it was right outside my door that has large gaps around for the light to shine through and light up the room.

Very friendly staff, spacious room and very clean. There was a very good choice at breakfast and we also ate in the hotel bar one evening which was also very good.

We had to miss breakfast one day as they didn’t start serving until 8am. Most people staying there were playing golf at the local courses as we were and we had an early tee off time which didn’t give us time for breakfast. Other than that we couldn’t fault our stay.

Very comfortable room with good shower and a bath. We ate an evening meal in the bar and thought the food was very good..tasty home cooking. Breakfast was excellent, great range of hot and cold options

Real shame to have a lovely hotel right beside stunning Downings Bay and not have any view from the hotel besides the car park and the multiple static caravans.
