When I arrived I thought this is going to a let down, the reception back on to a stage, this is the craziest thing I have ever seen, when you arrive you quite literally have to shout at the receptionist, she was very considerate checking on my arrival, but the receptionist has to be commended, please rectify this, I thought this was going to be a problem for the rest of my visit, but it wasn't the rooms were very good, very comfortable, the back rooms look out on a bit of an eyesore, but the rooms are very sound proofed, they also could dim the lights in the hallway, because light seeps under the door, the breakfast was very good, but a big pet hate of mine is those silver tea pots. They look cheap, and just one thing more cut the toast, it's makes the breakfast seem like a greasy spoon restaurant, I found nothing else in fact I loved it. Very nice enjoyable stay there

This is a large hotel for a family-run hotel. However, it is extremely well-managed in terms of the cleanness of the facilities, friendliness of the staff members, and convenience of nice restaurant that serve breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. In addition, they provide live music on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The hotel is located close to the center of Letterkenny. We could walk to the Letterkenny Bus Station.

Their breakfast is traditional Irish, i.e. eggs, beans, mushrooms, bacon, and sausages together with toast. I wished that I had more options.

There's nothing bad to say. Lovely staff . Lovely room. Odd as this comment may seem, the fact that the flooring in the rooms was wooden or laminate made it so much easier to push on as a wheelchair user. I also like the fact that there is a choice in wheelchair accessible room, I.e. 2 beds or 1 when two people are staying. All too often it is assumed that if you require an accessible room and you will be coming with someone else that you automatically want to or need to share a room and so in terms of accessible rooms available in hotels it is usually the case that only a double bed is available in that room. I like that the station house gives a choice and other hotels could take note and learn. I will come to the hotel again and would recommend it. Thanks for a lovely stay

Spacious room with sofa, comfortable bed, friendly staff, nice shower and nice food. Good location and value for money.

No socket on one side of the bed and only one the other side. After leaving a few bags in the car and coming back for the rest, our key cards had been deactivated (we had arranged a later checkout and were within that time), although not anything the hotel did, extremely noisy street cleaner started around 7am so if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or ask for a room not facing the street. This is the second time we stayed here and it happened the other time too so this was not a once off. There was tea and coffee but only decaf coffee sachets were in the room although I'm sure we could have requested non decaf.

Super location and the loveliest and friendliest staff. They were exceptionally helpful and just want you to have a good time. Good bar food during the day and evening.

The noise of the Little Boy Racers with their souped-up exhausts just outside the hotel until about 4 am at the weekend. It was the worst I've ever heard. Staff had no problem moving us to the quieter rooms at the back of the hotel. It's obviously not the fault of the hotel but noteworthy if you want a quiet night's sleep. Breakfast wasn't great, though it was adequate. Don't expect fresh fruit or assorted breads, cheese, or continental style. It's the only thing that lets the hotel down.

Our room on the top floor was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff we encountered were all pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. Free private parking was an added bonus. Overall a good place to stay, close to all town centre amenities.

We would have liked some fresh fruit for breakfast along with some traditional Irish bread. Signage from the back car park to the hotel entrance needs to be updated, if the rear entrance continues to be inaccessible.

The room was spotless, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, just as previous reviews highlighted. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices.

The Depot Restaurant and Bar was disappointing. I had made a reservation for 20:45 and arrived a bit early, only to be seated next to the restroom door. Although I'm aware the restrooms are downstairs, the location was uncomfortably busy. Additionally, I requested a drink which was surprisingly mixed incorrectly—a first for me. The food, even though I ordered the chef's special, was dismal and lacked anything noteworthy. Upon paying, I noticed an overcharge on my bill. I understand that Saturday nights are busy, but the placement of the till machine should be reconsidered—it's inconveniently located where drinks are served.

Very comfortable, clean room. Tea/coffee facilities in the room. Bathroom clean and well stocked with towels, toiletries etc. Reception staff welcoming and informative. We did not have breakfast but ate a very nice evening meal in the bar, good quality, generous plates of food. The serving staff were attentive. The hotel is well situated at the edge of the main area of letterkenny. Car parking to the rear of the hotel and underground parking available too. We enjoyed our stay at the Station house hotel.

Hotel is located in town near all shops, bars, restaurants. Room and bed comfortable, plenty of towels, tea and coffee making facility and good choice of channels on tv. The best part of our stay was the delicious food served in the restaurant. We ate there both nights and tried a good number of starters, mains and dessert. Staff were so nice and very helpful in the restaurant, at reception and the housekeeping staff who were very busy still managed to smile and say hello when passing. A really great hotel to stay in if your in Letterkenny

The only fault I’d have is the noise on the street from the room. I’m a light sleeper so it may not disturb other people. Better sound proofed windows and this hotel would be an outright winner for me

Convenient location, in terms of access to Letterkenny facilities and for wider touring of Donegal. Very helpful and friendly staff, both front-of-house and housekeeping.

The uncharacteristically hot and humid weather made the nights uncomfortable due to the absence of air-conditioning and the fact that opening the windows let in a lot of early-morning street noise.
