Excellent hotel . Plenty of room for parking, arrived with my mum and sister who are disabled and was able to park right outside . Breakfast was lovely and hot and made to order, staff were very attentive and friendly. Beds were comfortable and at the right height

There was a slight step in the doorway going through the main entranceway of the hotel which kept catching my sister's wheelchair. The main doors had to be propped open when entering or leaving the hotel. Having carpet in the disabled room made it difficult to manoeuvre her wheelchair around,.There was a small step into the disabled wet room which meant she couldn't bring her wheelchair into it. The shower in the disabled wet room had no seat.

I booked a room for my wife and I for a much needed break... I politely asked when booking, if there was any suites still available upon our arrival could we be upgraded. I got to check-in and gave details. We just assumed we were going to a standard double room, but to our surprise, it was a beautiful suite. I think it was the honeymoon suite, not sure. We never asked as we were very appreciative of the upgrade. This lovely gesture set the tone for our lovely weekend in the Silver Tassie and Letterkenny. Credit to the staff for running a smooth running hotel. We will definitely be back and will be recommending to all family and friends

We had to go back home :)

Check in was slow - staff didn't seem to stay near the front desk that often and there was no bell to let them know we were there. The room was huge, beds were comfortable, very quiet for a ground floor room. Asthma friendly - they honored my request for cleaning without fragranced chemicals. Had dinner at the pub, which was very good - enormous portions. Breakfast was very good - ate by the fire, which was lovely. Would definitely stay here again. Plenty of onsite parking.

No way to let staff know anyone was at the front desk.

The room was spacious and met our requirements for the stay. It was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good with a variety of options from a buffet as well as cooked breakfast if wanted.

Room was a fair walk away from the restaurant, but this possibly was a good thing as it was quiet. Both days there was a large laundry trolley parked in our hallway which we needed to squeeze past. Perhaps the housekeeping could consider putting this somewhere more appropriate.

lovely setting and friendly staff. The room was more traditional style rather than modern but very comfy and a good sized room with a comfy bed. We slept really well. Pleasantly surprised there was live music on a week night. We really enjoyed it. So many Hotels don't do this apart from weekends so a big thumbs up. A lovely bar area and friendly staff.

We enjoyed lunch but disappointed with our evening meal. The chips were poor quality, dry and unpleasant and the chicken was a bit bland. The brulee was not great, nice flavour cream but hardly any caremalisation at all which is what a brulees about.. no shortbread or fruit and just felt basic and not worth the price. only other hiccup was this was our first visit but weren't told where breakfast was or shown the bar and restaurant etc, would have been helpful.

We thought we had been upgraded as our room was enormous with a full 6 person dining table and sofa also included! It was very spacious, extremely clean and quiet, being away from any road noise.

The food in the pub restaurant wasn't quite what we expected (we ordered the roast of the day) - having read so many positive reviews we had, perhaps, set our expectations a bit highly. The same with the breakfast - this was ok, but was nothing special.

Staff were very friendly and always reminded me to give them a call if I needed anything! Breakfast was lovely with variety of options, beautiful hotel as a whole, very quiet area also. Got a treatment next door to the hotel and it was absolute bliss!

Got very hot at night so it wasn’t too comfortable but eventually I slept grand once the windows were open. Wasn’t very soundproof but I wasn’t too fused about it. Isn’t in walking distance to the town but that can’t be changed, however no problem in ordering a taxi :)

The foyer of the hotel was lovely, our room was nice and comfortable after a day of sightseeing. Staff at reception were great. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were wonderful

We ate dinner at the hotel. Our roast was delicious, however the salad that came with my husbands browned, stale and out of date. Francesca the head waitress was very apologetic- the other staff who had enquired about our meal showed no interest whatsoever.

Great location, massive bedroom, very clean, great food in the bar and good breakfast, staff are very nice and helpful. Would stay again.

We had a double bed and a single bed in the room, both uncomfortable due to the mattresses having craters in the middle, no matter what way you lie down you, you end up sliding into the crater, just needs new mattresses in this room and all would have been perfect for us.

Exceptional service from the reception staff, particularly Quasim, prior to arrival when I had a query. Staff in the bar and restaurant were very polite and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the room was comfortable with every facility provided. The hotel has a lovely homely and comfortable atmosphere. We were attending a function on this occasion and we will definitely return again for another visit.

Absolutely nothing! Everything was to a high standard.
