Receptionist was very nice and friendly. Staff in general nice. The room was good. Breakfast was really nice.
Service at the restaurant was awful. We had a booking made for 8pm. Waited over 1hour to get 1 glass of wine and even more for our dinner to be served. Due to food allergies/intolerance the dish was modified (that was nice) but nothing offered as a replacement, garnish removed ended up with just the fish and a few potatoes on the side. Asked for one dessert that was no longer available, but not offered to check the menu again for something else or even suggested an option. No gesture made for the delay. I would not eat there again. Also the waiters had to walk through reception to bring the dishes to the other side of bar/restaurant room ...

The Hotel is very homely and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Thanks to Marie and all the staff that looked after us so well during our stay. We have stayed quite a few times now in this hotel over the years and we always enjoy our stay.
What I like about the hotel is that it’s in a beautiful part of Donegal with plenty of places to see and visit. The surrounding scenery is magnificent. It’s also handy that our friends live nearby and it makes it easy to meet in the hotel with them for a bite to eat or a few drinks. There’s always a good vibe in the hotel.

My whole experience staying here was wonderful. The ladies at breakfast were very friendly and we spoke about our hiking adventures. The breakfast was delicious, especially the musli they provided. I stayed in a single room for two nights, and it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Everything worked including the hot shower etc The food in the bar was great, and the location was a short car ride to my hiking adventure to Mount Errigal. I had a lovely experience, and I am hopeful to be back soon to explore the area.

This is a large hotel - a little dated ? Yes. You will feel like you have stepped back into the 80/90's - but perfectly acceptable at it's price point - in fact really good value. The staff I met were all young - but I was really impressed with them. All friendly and welcoming and they all did a good job. Lovely breakfast - poached eggs were absolutely perfect.
The TV was tiny and mounted very high up on the wall..... saying that - I didn't come to Ireland to watch telly - so not bothered about that.

As I had to leave very early( McGinley coach at 7:15) and so couldn´t have the usual breakfast, John had prepared lots of fruit, which ha wrapped and gave me for the journey. He was very helpful and friendly with the luggage. Thank you so much
I had asked for a ground floor room and got it, but it faced the main road, which is quite noisy, especially on a Saturday night. I liked the well equipped bathroom, but I think a rubber mat for the shower would be useful, as without such it gets slippery.

I have been here on numerous occasions and have left reviews in the past.If it wasn't good I wouldn't return.I always found it a pleasant stay.I note some of the "picky" reviews left which are frankly unbelievable. It is a three star hotel, immaculately clean in a quiet village. It is fully supported by the local people which says it all.The staff are very friendly and it is great to see young staff employed who are a pleasure.Enjoy your stay as you won't be disappointed.I never have.I drive three hours to get there.Well worth it.

This is a very homely hotel with exceptionally nice and helpful local staff. For the price point it is at, it represents great value for money. The room was simple but perfectly comfortable and clean. I was away too early for breakfast but the night porter kindly gave me a continental breakfast and even gave me some fruit to take away with me.

The accommodation was great however I thought we had booked in Letterkenny only to discover when we arrived in the town it was the Letterkenny County where I had booked 45 min back to the coast so it's always best to check the post code to ensure you have the correct town. All in all the hotel was fine and all we needed was available and lovely and quiet.
No all was fine

Bar food was excellent and good value, lovely attentive staff. Entertainment on Mon And Tues of my stay. Modern bathrooms. Lovely reception and bar staff.
Bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever tried to sleep in. Black out curtains would be great and a toilet roll holder. Hotel needs a lift , reception girls lugging luggage up one flight of stairs.
