The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The location was very convenient.

The walls are too thin. My neighbor in the room next door, fell asleep with the TV on full volume (I believe he was elderly and had hearing issues). I could hear everything and had a very hard time getting to sleep. I could hear his phone ringing through the wall and I could also hear the maintenance person attempting to knock on his door and wake him. For the amount that I paid, I would expect better.

The location was perfect for our family! Close to downtown. In fact, it WAS downtown basically. We walked to the cathedral and Main Street. The staff was nice and we felt like we were living in high-class early 1900’s. Also the pool was a salt pool. Perfect.

It was pricey, and there was no hot tub. Everyone likes a good hot tub.

Great desk personnel, very friendly and accommodating. Kitchen staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Excellent variety of hot and cold choices for breakfast. Room was squeaky clean, bed was comfortable. WiFi was excellent. Steak House just down the hall. All in all a great stay.

Parking isn't ideal for someone with a mobility issue.

Outside our room a truck kept beeping. They must’ve been doing construction. I heard it all night. But that’s out of the hotels control. We were finding peanut shells in our room from the last people that were there.

We did not eat breakfast, but did order room service. It was very good. Love having coffee mugs and glasses, and that they were covered! The room was clean and spacious. The room temperature was great! The staff were attentive at the front desk as well as cleaning staff.

The coffee maker was a challenge! More coffee pods please! Hallway seemed dim.

We had been to Helena a few other times and honestly had been underwhelmed by the hotels that we stayed at. This hotel stood out from the others for several reasons. First, the location was excellent. We were right by Carroll College, and could walk to the carousel, brewpub, and other downtown shopping and restaurants. Additionally, the hotel had a classic feel. We loved the Great Northern Railroad theme. Breakfast was great and there were even cookies offered in the evening. Finally, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt welcome right away.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like. We just wished we had a little more time there as it was a quick overnight for us.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the experience feel so special. The room was spacious, the bed was unbelievably comfy, and I slept like a dream. Plus, the location is perfect—everything is just a short walk away. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was great. Loved the plates & silverware. Juices served from canisters not out of a machine was really nice. Bathroom items in the room were super nice. All and all everything was really first class !

Loved the location and staff was very nice. Pool was clean and nice rooms were big and beds were very comfortable!

The hot tub was out of commission which was disappointing. Breakfast was crowded but manageable for the most part. Lots of kids in their own rooms so lots of running up and down the halls slamming doors. Overall it wasn't a bad experience at all.

The website shows that there is a hot tub/ spa. However, when I checked out the pool area, there was none. There was some kind of deck and chairs over the spot that the pictures showed where the hot tub was….
