The hotel service, facilities, interior design and breakfast exceeded all expectations. The staff is very attentive, caring, friendly and very responsive. The rooms are very clean, elegant and spacious. The balconies are a wonderful addition, as you get to enjoy beautiful sunrises in the morning and the magic of starry nights of Samarkand in the evenings. The interior design in every space of the hotel is very elegant and with taste. The food quality and breakfast options for breakfast are also applaudable. The spa area deserves a separate positive review: very good selections of wellness zones. Highly recommend for leisure and business stays alike

I couldn't believe how comfortable the bed was...I wanted to fall asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. The rooms were extraordinarily clean, the water in the shower hot, the staff were so helpful and friendly, the hotel and adjacent spa were beautiful. This hotel looks even better in person than in the pics. Great value. Oh yeah, the breakfast is really good, too....lots of variety. I'd stay here again.

Just the location being a bit far from the center, but it's not that bad. I walked it myself, took under an hour. Samarkand is not that expansive of a city...even the airport is a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel.

The hotel is a 5-star quality. Still, the front desk and breakfast bar employees could be trained a little more to please their Western world guests. BTW, the front desk help Azamat is an incredible asset to this company who performed an exceptional job to his guests.

A couple of guys walked around the breakfast bar area with no smile, never greeting a single guest. I have been a hotel owner for 45 years, I would suggest the owner of this lodge to look at these couple of easy-fix issues that could bring him a lot more success.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They noticed my husband’s birthday and organised a birthday cake and a platter with fresh fruit. Very considered.

Our eight year old grand-son wanted to go for a swim but they wanted 10€ for one hour to use the swimming pool. There is a Spa complex to use for free but that does not include the tiny swimming pool

Everything was wonderful! The staff was very courteous and helpful. The facilities were first-class. This was my second stay at the Marokand Spa hotel, and if I travel to Samarkand again in the future, I will always choose to stay here.

We traveled with our 3 month old baby and it was very comfortable. Super large bed, extra bed for our baby, very clean and nice room. You can also stay and chill in the lobby in the ground floor or first floor. Breakfast is also really good and you can enter the spa for free and book massages if you want. What i liked most was the staff. Especially Mahmut and Djafar were so kind and helpful, can just wish the best for them. I recommend this hotel 100%!

The location is not perfect if you want to do sightseeing but Taxis in uzbekistan are cheap, so its no problem either.

Hotel smells lovely and in a nice quiet area, very close to airport and short drive from train station. Staff were super friendly especially Mr. Esrail. The spa was divine as well as their staff, we had done turkish hammam, coffee scrub and massage and it was amazing. Breakfast had great variety.

Not much options for lunch and dinner.

The spa areas were great that were free with hotel stay. Both men’s and women’s spas included use of Turkish steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Men’s spa also had cold plunge. One of us paid for a massage and they did a great job. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had many items to choose from

We liked everything

we stayed in this hotel Only for one night before our flight - but i kid you not - this was the nicest place we stayed in Uzbekistan. Very friendly staff, beautiful hotel and rooms, welcoming SPA area. They even prepared for us little lunch box because we were leaving very early in the morning for the airport, so we could have our breakfast :)

one can say location is a bit far from touristic centre - but for us it worked as it was close to the aiport

This was our second stay, after 2 months we returned to Samarkand. This time we discovered that on the lower level there is a SALT ROOM! Next to that, our kids found the PlayStation room with a PS5 in that room available for guests, we had a hard time dragging them away from that room after they got some gaming in. Another interesting room was the Pearl Bath room downstairs. During our fist stay we where mainly interested in the SPA facilities, but this time, other amazing services impressed us. We highly recommend this hotel for FAMILIES!

All was great! We got to rent the family swimming pool for 2 hours! Our children really enjoyed it! We will come back again in a few weeks. The SAUNA was jut great, and got special venyik treatment. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Excellent experience!
