A lovely modern hotel with great views from the top floor restaurant, nice breakfast and friendly helpful staff

There is no lift , we where on 1st floor so no problem but the restaurant is on the 5th floor which could be a problem for some

The hotel is perfectly located. The staff is very nice also to arrange private visits to museums and the breakfast is of top quality

Beside for the location, we chose the hotel also for the view from the terrace during breakfasts. Unfortunately the terrace was under reconstruction and no one Informed us beforehand. The room was nice but much smaller than in the photos.

The location is really in the center and 30 minutes walk from Registan with a lot to see on the way. The service was kind and helpful. The room was small but clean and got everything I needed. The Terrasse is beautiful to spend the evening with a class of wine chatting. The breakfast is diversified and good.

Great location, just a pleasant 20 minute walk to Registan Square. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with both local and international options. Our room was comfortable and clean; we were on the ground floor, and sometimes we could hear the shower from the room above, but only for a few minutes, so it was not a big issue. The staff was very welcoming, kind, and always available for any request. The hotel is very popular, so late check-out is not always possible, but the staff is happy to keep your luggage safe for as long as you need. The terrace is definitely the highlight: spacious, airy, and overlooking the Amir Temur mausoleum. The fountain adds an extra touch of relaxation, and you can enjoy both breakfast and dinner there at any time of the day.

We stayed at Gur Emir Palace for a week with our family and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly accommodating — they arranged an airport transfer, provided a complimentary baby cot, and gave us a ground-floor room, which made things so much easier when you have a pram. The rooms are cosy, the team is friendly and helpful, and the rooftop restaurant terrace offers an unforgettable view of the Amir Temur mausoleum — having breakfast there was a highlight of our trip! We’d happily stay here again.

The street outside can be a little noisy at times, but that’s no fault of the hotel.

Everything! So many good things about this hotel but above all the staff who are obviously carefully chosen and speak very good English (amongst other languages no doubt) which was a huge bonus for us. The superior rooms are gorgeous with hand painted murals and a lot of attention to detail. We liked the location as it was close to what we needed and very quiet. The rooftop patio is beautiful and you can enjoy breakfast there as well as dinner if you wish, or just go and chill for a while and admire the view. It was a 15-20 minute walk to Registan Square or a short taxi/Yandex ride. The reception staff were all so efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I asked for a couple of extra pillows and they were in our room almost instantly! The Manager, Muhammad, was exceptionally helpful to us and amongst other things arranged two side trips for us which were unforgettable. We would not have done those trips without him telling us about them. Breakfast was plentiful and we lived the roof terrace. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience for us. A big thank you to all the staff - outstanding.

If I had to say anything it would be that a few more coat hangers would be good in the rooms!

We loved this hotel and would like to come back to it one day. The location is perfect- in a quiet street at the same time very close to Gur Emir and not too far from Registan. Rooms are nice, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast is served in a beautiful restaurant or on the terrace. The choice of food is varied and can satisfy all the requirements and preferences, plus it is beautifully served. Special thanks to the gentlemen at the reception. They were very helpful and friendly, always smiling and supportive, they even presented us a small amount of money which we lacked for the taxi. We are very grateful to them (unfortunately we don’t remember the names).

I stayed at Gur Emir Palace Hotel during my trip to Samarkand and was very satisfied with the experience. The location is excellent — right near the Gur-Emir Mausoleum and other historical landmarks, perfect for sightseeing on foot. The rooms were cozy, clean, and well-equipped — everything worked properly, the bed was comfortable, and housekeeping was consistent. Wi-Fi and air conditioning functioned without any issues. I want to give special thanks to Chef Lyudmila — the breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with a homemade touch and great attention to detail. I also want to highlight the managers and administrators in glasses — very polite, professional, and always ready to help. Their hospitality truly made me feel welcome and well cared for. The hotel left only positive impressions. I highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again!

Stuff are amazingly friendly, helpful and talkative. It is easy to communicate with them. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Toilet was cleaned and stuffed with towels and toiletries. There was a complimentary water at the room. Roof top restaurant has a nice old town and monument's wiev. Breakfast was really satisfying. Room Price is ok Hotel's location is really good. 2 minutes walk to Amir Timur's Mausoleum and few minutes walk away from many attractions. For few days stay it is a good place to choose.

Internet is really bad. Plus the GSM network do not work well at the first floor. The room is a bit darker. There was a construction on the wall during our stay. That caused some noise. I did not like that there is an extra city tax apart from the gotel price. 4$for each for night. The jams at the breakfast were not OK. No soap but liquid soap at the room. No bidet at the toilet.

Great location within walking distance from major attractions. The building and the rooms are nicely decorated in the local style. Good breakfast with a wide choice of dishes. Friendly staff.

The rooms are quite small and the one on the ground floor smelled awfully (probably the sewage system isn’t working properly). There was only one reading light on one of the bedside tables and yet it didn’t work because the plug didn’t fit the socket. Breakfast was mainly cold, even fried eggs and sausages. The price of a double espresso was extortionate - 50,000 sum +20%service surcharge=60,000 sum, though the coffee was decent.
