Absolutely gorgeous property, with lovely interiors and exteriors. Extremely clean and cozy with lovely staff. Takes around 15 minutes walk from the hotel to the Registan square and most of the main sightseeing attractions. Staff, lead by the outstanding management, are very friendly and welcoming and they made our stay very special.

Staying at the Zarafshon Parkside was a delightful experience. The location couldn’t have been better— close to Central Park and Registan Square. The hotel is a heritage property that has been continuously renovated and updated since 2022, so it felt both historic and modern. Our room was incredibly comfortable, and the highlight of our stay was relaxing at the pavilions in the charming garden. The breakfast was also delicious, and the staff were some of the warmest and most helpful we encountered on our trip. It was the perfect place to soak in the magic of Samarkand!

Additionally, since our flight to Turkey was at 6 AM, the hotel arranged for our last day’s breakfast to be provided as a takeaway lunchbox—a very considerate gesture that we deeply appreciated. We loved our stay at the Zarafshon. Located a bit outside of the old city, the hotel is quiet with a very nicely landscaped space in the back for reading, sitting, and swimming. We enjoyed our breakfasts each morning, and also made use of the nice gym. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had good wifi. Staff were very helpful, accomadating, and friendly. When we were accidentally overcharged for dinner, they saw to it that everything was resolved over email including covering me when my card was charged for international money transfer. There are some good restaurants and cafes near by and the walk to downtown can partially be made via a nice long tree-lined route.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Zarafshon hotel. The property looks grand, from the entrance to the rooms. Our room was sufficiently large, with a large and comfortable bed. Despite the summer heat the air conditioning worked well and we had a good night's rest. The bathroom was large and clean, with a good working shower. Breakfast was comprehensive. We also had a wonderful time at the pool, where we were served delicious non-alcoholic cocktails. All the other staff was helpful as well. The hotel is close to most attractions in Samarkand and several restaurants, and the city is quite walkable.

The air conditioning cut out one night, but this was fixed relatively quickly.

Very nice place! We took a suite, with two rooms and a balcony, it was really cozy. They have a pool, which you can use anytime and it is very pleasant during the hot days. A big plus for us was the billiard room, which we used every day. Very friendly staff! We had lunches and dinners there, very good food. Very nice and cozy courtyard, quiet and intimate.

Large and comfortable bedroom, great balcony with nice view on the garden. Very clean and with attention to detail. Calm neighbourhood. Breakfast was good.

Not much to do at the hotel. The pool is seasonal, so in March it is not in use . Wish there was a hammam/sauna to relax after a long day of sightseeing and a bar, another restaurant for more lively ambiance. Given the room rate and the size of the property, you will expect more facilities.

The hotel was wonderful. Less traditional but that was a welcome change also. The most high end of my trip. Breakfast was excellent as was the staff throughout. Room was clean and the hotel spotless. But this is no surprise for the very clean country of UZ. What I liked the most was that it was close enough to the sites but not immersed in them. Felt like staying in a calm and relaxing neighbourhood. With a lovely park surrounding the hotel. The walk to the sites was lovely among the shaded trees. Many good restaurants on all levels within walking distance. Would most certainly stay again.

Wifi was sometimes weak but bearable for streaming.

The hotel is very elegant. The pool is nice and clean. The staff is super attentive, kind and helpful. The breakfast was ok, nothing very special, but still well served and presented. The coffee was very tasty.

Standard rooms are too small. There is no mini-bar in the room, but I guess the room service works well, even though I didn't use it. During the night there was a constant noise, I think from the pool cleaner, and we couldn't enjoy the fresh evening air while sleeping, Instead, we used air condition, which worked well.
