We were welcomed by the friendly proprietor, who volunteered to show us sights on a Verona map and asked what we would like for breakfast the next day, to be served in our room. It was excellent, especially the fresh fruit salad. The bed was especially comfortable. In the junior suite, we had a kitchenette area with sink and fridge, a living room with television, and spacious modern bathroom. All of this was provided in a very old building in the historic center, walking distance from all we wanted to see.

We had no complaints at all and if we return to Verona, this is where we will stay.

Beautiful, spacious room with a lovely view. Far enough from the centre to not be commercialised but close enough to walk. Independently run so a very personal and unique touch. Breakfast was served to the room each morning which was very relaxing, and stress free. It was the same each morning which didn't offer too much variety but that's my preference and certainly was a more positive experience than a negative. Local attractions and restaurants were all of a high quality. We both really enjoyed our trip, would visit again and stay in the same hotel.

Everything. Absolutely loved everything about it. The very lovely welcome , the efficiency of the check in, the perfect location and nearby free parking ... The rooms are very spacey and the bed is fantastic. My husband has a bad back and never slept so well. I want to buy this mattress for my home. Because of the super insulated windows there is absolutely NO noise , nor from the street nor from the hallway as the elevator is super silent too. Breakfast is lovely and prepared with love and care. The super fresh & abundant fruit salad is FAB! And then .... the cleanliness ... I am extremely difficult and very critical when it comes to cleanliness, but this is by far the cleanest place I ever stayed in. IMMACULATE. The lady in charge of the cleaning is exceptional. Thank you for this FABULOUS stay. I cannot wait to be back!! Grazie tantissimo ancora per tutto! Veramente eccezionale !!!

Spent 2 nights at the Relais Ponte Pietra at the end of a 10-day road trip around Lake Garda - and it could not have been more perfect. Comfortable bed, hot shower, and really efficient air conditioning - exactly what you need as a base from which to explore Verona. But the jewel in its crown is Olga. Her hospitality and customer service is second-to-none, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left; nothing was ever too much trouble (even going to the effort of leaving us breakfast in the minibar as we were checking out early!) Olga, you are a superstar and thank you.

Nothing- fabulous stay!

Olga told me the building was from the 14th Century. Imagine that, staying in such a luxurious and atmospheric place in Verona. The Veronese and Italian people have contributed so much to Western culture and this hotel captures all this in a single place at a price that never really applied in any former time of this buildings long life. It is great value for a special piece of history. The owners have done a splendid job in modernising the facilities tastefully and effectively. Verona was badly mauled in WW2, with all the bridges being blown up but what we see is as if it never happened.

Incredibly charming and personal place in a quiet yet bustling part of central Verona, within the old town's gates and walls. We were greeted by and taken care off in the best possible way by our host, how was just genuinely hospitable, friendly and helpful in any way. Cosy little room with a genuine Italy feeling to it. Sparkling clean, AC, proper bathroom. And, a breakfast delivered to the room with plenty of choice. Location is great with lots of restaurants and bars nearby, one of the old city gates and bridges right opposite, and only a 20 min walk from the Arena. We not only would but will come back!

Did not matter for us - the room door was a thin sliding door. But despite that, the room and house was quiet, we slept sound, and the host was discrete. Being woken up with a beautiful breakfast delivered to your room is a plus in our book. So, no shared breakfast room or alike in the property.

The location is excellent on a central but quiet street within easy walking distance of the Arena and other attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and even prepared and served us a very early breakfast so that we could get to the airport early. There is free parking nearby but we chose to use one of the two parking slots in the hotel's garage for an additional €15.

The room had a bath shower en suite, rather than a walk-in shower. In addition, the shower head was loose and could not be tightened sufficiently to hold it upright.

brilliant position. Wonderful old building – large and comfortable room – part of a larger section of the apartment – so the private bathroom was literally outside the door of the bedroom – as was the fridge and coffee machine. Far better than having all of that inside of your room – and we had complete privacy for our area. Ivano was outstanding - and provided a fabulous recommendation of a restaurant a hundred metres away – in a deconsecrated church. Fabulous. and breakfast in the room was delicious. Can’t say enough good things about his boutique hotel!

Ivano was an incredible communicator! We arrived and found the most lovely hotel in the most stunning location just across from the Ponte Pietra. We were warmly welcomed, and found our room cool, clean, and so comfortable. It was the best first night’s stay we’ve had while traveling to Europe. Quiet and the bed was exceptional. Our breakfast was delivered to our room where we enjoyed cappuccino, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, croissants, orange juice and more. We highly recommend!

Charming little hotel located in the heart of historic Verona.

A few small gripes. Check in experience somewhat dampened by repeated requests from the host for a specific arrival time. It should be sufficient for the hotel to know that guests will arrive within the check in timeframe provided. We were travelling in that day from another country and via another region and felt pressured to provide updates and arrive by a specific time. Breakfast, while generous, was the same on the two days we were there. It would’ve been nice to be given the opportunity to nominate different options. Toilet paper was not restocked/replaced and, as there is no direct line to the host nor service desk, we resorted to buying our own toilet paper.
