Absolutely fantastic experience – by far the cleanest motel we’ve stayed at on our trip! We stayed here for just one night and honestly wish we had planned for more. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the manager, who couldn’t have been friendlier. He took the time to chat with us for a while and made us feel genuinely cared for – not just as guests, but as people. That kind of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. The room was spotless. And we don’t say that lightly – we’ve been traveling across the country and have stayed in all kinds of places, but this was hands down the cleanest motel (or even hotel) room we’ve seen. Everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. The next morning at checkout, the owner even shared some great local tips for the day ahead, which turned out to be super helpful. It's clear he takes real pride in the place and genuinely wants his guests to have the best possible experience. Visually, the motel looks great too – well-kept, inviting, and with a kind of quiet charm you just don’t find everywhere. We left with a smile and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and genuinely welcoming place to rest.

The manager, Pat went above and beyond. I had called because I drive a tour bus and parking at hotels is always an issue. Pat actually came to the venue picked me up and drove me to the hotel to show me the parking lot. He also drove me to a different hotel to show me their parking lot. The room was dated but clean. Bed was comfortable and the ac worked. Not exactly the Ritz but it served its purpose.

My family was traveling late at night so we ended up stopping & staying somewhere else along the way. I had made a mistake with my reservation and the owner was very accommodating with our change and then called to check on us when we were not there when we said we would be (again, late at night). (I had left a message through the app that he didn't know about). It's pretty rare that a hotel calls to check to see if everyone was okay!!

The owner was super friendly! Rooms were super clean. The price was awesome. Location was really quiet and easy to get to. Internet was fast and reliable.

It's definitely an older property but it does the job if you just need to sleep for the night. Pretend you're in the 1960s but with Internet and a flat screen TV for the night.

Facility was dated, but everything was clean and in good condition. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and even gave us some great information on local restaurants.

The Budget Inn was well within my expectations, The management not only met my needs but went far above and over. In this world we are in it is so nice to know there are compassionate people still around. I had rented the room for my daughter who was caught in a situation where she was there with no money, no phone, nothing, and no way to get home. While at their Inn, they offered to help her with a ride to the nearest Amtrak, and a means for me to assist her on her way. They did not have to do this, they chose to do this. I will travel to Covington one day just to meet them. If you are ever in the area, please choose the Budget Inn.

Clean and comfortable near a river park at an affordable price. Owner very friendly and helpful about nearby hiking trails and restaurants. Benches to sit on outside rooms.

All good! Small rooms but well-maintained. Sign displayed is different from operating name but includes “Budget”.

We stay at this location often. The owners are the best and we look forward to seeing them each time we stay. It is in a great location in Covington and everything is clean and comfortable.

We bring extra pillows when we stay because we like two each, Nothing is new, but we are ok with that.

The room was extremely clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable motel beds that I've slept on. The staff was smiling and appeared happy.

The room is dated and very small, two people at best. But in saying that, the good far out weighed the bad and I would (will) stay there again if I'm in Covington on business.
