Excellent location - staff were very good

I was charged 18E for parking- this turned out to be away from the property in a very difficult location- down a very narrow street which was pedestrian only ( reception give you an exemption certificate) I was unable to locate the garage - but was in any event traumatised in even driving down that street There is a perfectly adequate public car park across the road which I ended up using - I think the hotel should make that clear and I would never have bothered wasting my time and money with the private parking But - I emphasise that the hotel is excellent as are the staff - but the private parking should be withdrawn or it should be emphasised that it is very difficult to drive to and find

Huge & quirky suite, plenty of furniture to make my disabled husband a comfortable seat with legs up looking out over port. Great view over port. Massive bathroom, plenty of space and surfaces. Fridge, tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast in room was excellent, proper table & chairs. Arranged late check out at no extra cost to prevent arriving at St Malo too early for overnight ferry home

Bit hit & miss on parking. We were lucky to find a vacant disabled spot in the nearest car park and didn't move from it during our stay. Nowhere to pull up outside hotel, road too busy.

The hotel’s location was ideal—peaceful yet perfectly positioned for exploring the area. Whether it was a scenic stroll, a charming café nearby, or easy access to local attractions, everything felt wonderfully convenient and beautifully situated.

The staff on arrival were absolutely lovely—warm, welcoming, and made check-in feel effortless. The first breakfast was a real treat, with a great selection and attentive service. Unfortunately, the second morning felt a bit less smooth, with limited eggs and fruit available, which was a slight inconvenience. That said, the overall hospitality remained kind and accommodating.

We had a two night stay in Honfleur on our way back to Calais as we love the town. The hotel was right on the harbour side in an excellent location with great views. The room was tiny, even though we booked a super de-luxe. We had a bonus elevator, which is quite rare in very old buildings in France. We had our dog with us, which made the room even more tight for space, even though he's not a big fog. The bed was quite comfy, but we kept rolling to one side due to the wonky floor. All good fun. The staff were all very pleasant. As we only slept there, we can't really say much more.

Nothing negative to say.

It’s CLEAN, inviting, amenable and the location is picturesque. Our room was exactly what we needed to relax in after a long day of travelling and sight seeing, having walked around the beautiful port, art shops, chocolateiers, cafes, restaurants and bars. What a treat-The staff are really nice and so sweet and helpful too.

The “deluxe king room” was supposed to be equipped with “a large double bed”; but we had been provided two bed pushed together, that I could feel whilst sleeping on it.

We had two small double rooms and they were snug, but that was to be expected. We both had fantastic views of the town and harbour. Breakfast was really good, lots of choice and you could have loads.

Breakfast was pricey at 17 E 50 if all you wanted was a yoghurt and an orange. I missed having a long mirror, but everything else was great. We needed a little help to get the televisions to work, but they were so good in dealing with this and even spent some time getting English language TV. My mother did have a leak from an upstairs shower. Again they dealt with this really efficiently and gave us two free breakfasts for the inconvenience.

Booked to stay overnight coming off the Portsmouth/Le Havre ferry (en-route to Le Mans) and absolutely ideal for that - barely 30 min off the ferry, easy to find, parking (payable but cheap) close-by and fabulous location right on the harbourside and a few meters from the centre. Friendly, helpful welcome, quality & comfortable room, fabulous view. Would book again without hesitation!

A parking bay outside (or to the rear) to unload bags would be useful (prior to parking close by).

The welcome from the staff on our arrival and throughout our stay was really nice, all the staff spoke good English (I really must learn more French,!!!). The room had a great view over the port and town, great to wake up too, and especially good in the evening with the beautiful full moon rising while we were there. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC in the room was very good, and quiet and very welcome during our stay. The position is excellent for access to the town, restaurants etc. The parking although a little way from the hotel was excellent, and very well organized by the hotel. We will Definity will stay again. We highly recommend this Hotel

The room seemed to be oddly arranged it was a squeeze to get between the bed and the desk -it seemed as if the radiator and the desk needed to be swapped over which would give much more room! However the view from the window was the best we could see so much going on!

No car parking. The nearest car park is very expensive, only free 8pm-8am so we parked there the first evening then next morning we had to move the car by 8am or pay equivalent of £3/hr. We then used the free car park further up the road by the nature centre (opposite a large tower). We discovered that you can walk alongside the river by walking through the car park and turning right towards the town. Very enjoyable 15min walk morning and evening. It would have been helpful to have been told this option by the hotel (but this could have been a language problem).

Breakfast excellent. Great view from the room. All the staff very friendly and helpful. We used the nearest of the hotels parking offering which was a short walk but very secure. Very well located for numerous bars and restaurants.

A small armchair would be good to have. Complimentary bottles of water please rather than having to buy them from the mini bar or elsewhere.
