Shower was not great, with lots of limescale. But with such hard water in the region, it’s a difficult battle to win. It’s not the most pleasant stream of water but it works, and temperature range is fine.

Place was actually way nicer than in the photos which was a big plus. Restaurant food was exceptional - the lamb shank was as soft and as tasty as bone marrow. Safe parking inside for vehicles and trailers was a bonus. Place is more like a hotel than a guesthouse. Visiting the nearby national park was a highlight.

If I had to moan about anything - and not that it stood out as a discomfort, maybe new firmer pillows options would be nice.

On-site restaurant, host even contacted us enroute with the menu & we could preorder dinner, knowing they were fully booked. Aircon bedroom, just second room could have had a fan or Aircon too to make it perfect. Convenient location. Great family rooms, with 2 separate rooms. Delicious, value for money optional breakfast. Very good communication with host. Good WiFi.

Our WiFi didn’t work although management made a plan and gave us a dongle. As we booked 3 rooms we were given a house but there was only aircon in 1 of the bed rooms

Really wondaful experience staying at this establishment. Breakfast was superb, rooms spacious and facilities very nice.

Small maintenance required to room. Consider placing plugs next to bed for cell phone charging.

Although the accommodation was very comfortable, I found that sound carries to other rooms. At night I could hear almost clearly talking and TV sound from a neighbour room. 👇 (Move this comment to the box below)👇

Very easy to find in a lovely wide, tree lined street. A charming old property that has kept it's character with beautiful old paintings and artifacts, high ceilings and spacious rooms. The lodge is really underrated for what one gets, with spotless rooms and attention to detail, and a very good restaurant.

The shower heads need replacing!!!!

Breakfast was basic. Location excellent. My room no 1 had no kettle or bedside lamp. Shower head very old with very weak spray of water. Dinners very good.

We were able to relax after a long trip and enjoyed sitting outside at the pool. It made the evening shorter. All facilities were beautifully kept and staff were exceptionally friendly.
