The Silveri is a highly recommended accommodation for Hong Kong Citygate / Ngong Ping. - Automatic toilet is great, feels like I'm in Japan. This is a luxury feature in Hong Kong. - Key card to allow the room to be powered is already provided/attached, so we didn't have to insert a key card when we're in the room. - The room was so clean and the view is so nice all throughout the day/night. - The size of the room is okay and enough for a couple in their honeymoon. - The room/wall/window is sound-proof. - The surprise cake for our honeymoon is a great addition to our booking. (but a comment below) - The place is exactly what is shown in the photos. - The location is great, quiet, and free airport shuttle service is available to/from the airport every hour. - Super friendly staff. - Nespresso pods are provided daily. - Separated shower and toilet is a great layout for more efficient use of the space for couples living together. - Couch for a couple to sit and relax is greatly helpful. - Modern style of the room is appreciated by us. - Multiple places/switches to control lighting of the room is also a great addition.

Just nitpicking to provide a well balanced review, but definitely NOT a deal breaker to book again in The Silveri: - No filtered water faucet/device is provided, only two 330ml were provided daily. You need to ask the reception for more drinking water. - Reception didn't ask for a convenient time or advance notice, to give/surprise us with the cake (for honeymoon), so it arrived at a time that wasn't convenient for us. - "Do not disturb" sign must be placed at the door every time, since during our first night, around 8:30PM, a staff was knocking at the door, asking if we want our room to be cleaned.

Not enough staff working in the breakfast area, the restaurant manager attitude is terrible. The room is not ready by 2pm, the official check-in time. But I didn’t receive any apology during my check-in.

Conveniently located at Citygate outlet mall. Very cosy, clean hotel with modern decor and amenities. Room has great view. Many eateries within citygate outlet mall. Shopping experience was great. Ngong Ping 360 cable car station is located within walking distance. Breakfast was quite enjoyable in cosy restaurant. Hourly shuttle service to the airport was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Family room did not come with bath tub. Need to take 2 lifts (one to level 2 and another from level 2 to 3) to reach the hotel if travelling with large luggages/pram.

Don’t skip on the Breakfast Buffet — perfectly balanced menu with HK classics and western favourites. Location - less than a 5-minute walk through the mall to the Tung Chung MTR and Bus Station The room was clean and spacious enough for 2 guests. The toilet featured a heated Japanese-style bidet which was a pleasant surprise. We didn’t get to use the pool this time around, but the gym was well maintained and had a good variety of equipment. Every single staff member we met was friendly, polite and knowledgeable!

As Tung Chung Local, I knew my way around Citygate which made it easy to locate the hotel. For first-timers, it might not be as straightforward but there are enough signs in Citygate to lead you to the main entrance.

I mistakenly booked a breakfast. I asked the staff if they could maybe refund it. They were so fixed that nothing could be done and they didn't want to listen to reason. I had to leave the hotel at 6, so obviously we weren't gonna have any breakfast. While I know it's poor planning on my side (I should have not booked the breakfast) the staff should have been a bit more helpful. Ended up having to pay the 52 GBP for a breakfast we never got to eat

We met Edith at the front desk. She was very helpful and informative. She showed us how to get around the area. Spoke good English and very friendly too. The hotel is exceptional-we love the room very clean and also the bed is so comfy compared to other hotels. She also upgraded our room from 6th floor to 10th floor ( I guess she noticed that we love to take pictures) - we appreciated that, thanks Edith! Hotel is situated in the Citygate outlet mall. Walking distance to transportation terminal (bus, taxi, train). Just a 3 mins walk to the Ngong Ping 360 Cable car Terminal. Thanks also to Jay who helped us with our luggage and Ed who advised us to better take the bus to Macau …. Thanks guys for your hospitality! We really enjoyed our stay

I have nothing to complain about

My flight to HK landed at 10:30PM and I was very happy to be able to easily find the free shuttle to the hotel, where I was greeted by the fabulous, warm and welcoming front desk attendant, Carmela. She literally set the positive pace for this quick business trip. I opted for a room on the executive floor and it was well worth the extra $$. The breakfast buffet, included in exec price, was absolutely wonderful (especially the egg custard tarts!!). It was nice to come back after a day of work and enjoy a glass of wine and snacks provided in the exec lounge. This hotel was so convenient to Asia World-Expo and all trains to Hong Kong. I have definitely found "my place" to stay whenever business takes me back to Hong Kong. Carol

Overall speaking is good

Just two points: 1.We stayed in Room 1227, during shower, we found water leaking out to the bathroom area. It seemed like the drainage by the door was clogged. Anyway it was fixed fast after we informed your staff 2. We were told during check in and given a notice the time for breakfast that will stop serving at 10:30. When we went to the restaurant next morning at around 10:05, we were informed that we had to leave the restaurant by 10:30 sharp as it would be a function held there later. I think we should be informed earlier so that we didn’t have to rush to swallow our food that morning Nick

Location was in the outlet so close to shops and had many food options. Room was clean and free bus shuttle to the airport was convenient

Room was somewhat small, barely could fit our suitcases closed let alone open. Could hear scraping of furniture on the floor above all night, especially since we were the floor below reception and so every movement we could hear. The shower design was not ideal, water leaked from the shower if not careful. The boxed water tasted funny - understand they were trying to be environmentally clean but had a funny after taste.

Every staff member we bump into, including the cleaners were super friendly and they greeted us every time. The hotel was really great at sustainability work. The bed was super comfortable and the location was great. Breakfast option was small but good enough.

The pool closed random in mid day for cleaning and we were asked to leave. The two staff at the pool seemed pointless as they were napping or scrolling on their phones the entire time we were there. Whether they were lifeguards or not, but they behaved in an unprofessional manner. The service at breakfast buffet did not meet the standard of the rest of the hotel. We could see that staff were trying their best but because they were so busy that many staff seemed abrupt. For example, our coffee took 15 minutes to arrive and as it was basically thrown onto the table, causing the coffee was spilled on the side of the cup. During our meal time, we also noticed that many customers who needed service were overlooked for at least 10 minutes. More staff are definitely needed.
