Delightful helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings. An oasis in the madness of a hot days sightseeing.

Room lacked storage for cases. We felt uncomfortable with the constant ‘upselling’ of extras - all of which were expensive for the area. We had the set dinner which was delicious but a relatively simple three course menu for €50/head. During the meal cava and wine were poured as very small tasting glasses. We were surprised to be charged for the full glasses instead of a tasting package. Compared with other meals at local restaurants it was poor value.

You couldn’t get closer to a perfect stay. From the moment we arrived we felt like coming to a relatives house. Elena received us with a warmth and explained all we needed to know about the city, she gave us recommendations too. The room, Quelo, was spacious and very clean. As soon as you walked in the room had an amazing smell. Since there is only 6 rooms, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. The hotel was fully booked but it never felt crowded. The couples staying were off all ages and a few kind words were exchanged. I highly recommend for you to include the breakfast. A warm drink of choice, a juice, yoghurt, a sample of savory options and a sweet treat. More than I could wish for and all super fresh and delicious. Jose explained to us with passion and is something that is infectious. We can’t wait to be back!

This is not a hotel but an experience. Jose and Lisa have curated an exceptional food and lodging experience. Jose designed the hotel and it is spectacular. The winding staircases are amazing. We stayed for two nights and wish we could stay longer. We did have dinner at the hotel which was a delicious 5-course meal with wine pairings. We purchased some of Jose's family olive oil as well. I highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. Ilena and Patricia are extremely helpful as well. When we arrived, Ilena met us a few blocks away to park our car in their garage. It was super easy. The bathroom were modern with great water pressure and lots of amenities.

I wish we stayed longer to enjoy the pool and more of Jose's cooking.

This is a beautifully restored 15th century building. We were met by Lisa as we had a car and she directed us to the secure parking. It was perfect and roomy. The room we had was on the ground floor, but was very quiet. There is a pool on the floor above as well as the restaurant and its very well laid out. Our room was a great size and so was the bathroom. It was a bit dark in the bathroom, with no natural light. The bed was big and comfortable, great bedding and bedside tables, lights and power points. Tv and wifi. The bathroom has a very large shower which was great and lots of hot water. The towels were lovely and thick. Everything is close by, sights, restaurants and cafes. We ate in the restaurant, but didn't realise that most of the meals have been preprepared and not made to order. Mine lamb was lovely, but my husband had the eggplant ravioli and said it wasn't very exciting. This is the only reason I am not giving 10 as it was an expensive meal for what it was. However the choice of wines, Lisa's helpful and friendly made up for any lack. I would stay again.

Amazing little boutique hotel in the heart of the old town, with it's traditional patio a real oasis of calm. The staff couldn't do enough for us, the rooms quirky and fascinating with original features like 15th century walls. The taster breakfast of fresh local produce was absolutely delicious. We paid extra for the set menu with wine pairing in the evening and it was one of the best meals we've ever had. Such a different experience from the big anonymous hotels where you almost feel invisible. Boutique hotels are definitely the way forward for us! Would highly recommend!

Can't find fault with this place......

The team at Patio del Posadero have created the most luxurious & attentive experience at this truly Boutique Hotel nestled in the old town of Cordoba. With just six rooms it creates an intimate ambience as does the log fire burning quietly as one eats. Jose is a marvellous chef who offers a unique Andalusian dining experience with wine pairing as an additional offering. The daily breakfasts are a creation of genius & set one up for a full days site seeing. The honesty bar at the end of each day was hugely welcome with a great range of local wines & beers to choose from. Highly recommend

This hotel is an absolute gem! Set in a beautifully restored 15th-century building, it perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort. The location is exceptional, just a short walk from all the major sights, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and exclusive. The owner were incredibly kind and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was simply amazing, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation. Every detail in the hotel feels curated with care. A truly special place, we can’t wait to return!

This place is simply stunning. The staff are very enthusiastic and clearly enjoy working there, and I ended up spending a lot of time at the hotel simply because it was so very cosy and beautiful. The pool is fantastic and while prices for breakfast are high, I recommend giving it a try - every bite was delicious.

Parking was conveniently located, but I felt the 23 euros/day were overpriced. It was also so narrow that I ended up slightly scratching my rental car trying to get back out of the garage, and for those willing to walk, be advised that there is a huge free parking lot across the river at maybe ten minutes' distance on foot. Had I known, I would have gone for that option.

Don't be fooled by the 1 star rating. This facility is as nice most 4 and 5 star hotels but much more personable. Owners Jose and Lisa have put in many nice amenities in this vintage building. They are very involved in the operations, including being chef for their small restaurant operation. We had two private dinners on their patio that were excellent. The food is Italian based and well prepared. Breakfast were ala carte ordered from a menu and were very good also. The hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area which was very nice.

While the hotel is very quiet, there is a VRBO rental next door that the owner's have no control over. On one of the two nights there was a group of women who were very loud, coming home from partying at 4:00 am. They continued to party for an hour. While we liked the location from its seclusion from the touristy areas, if your party includes mobility challenged individuals, it is a twenty minute walk to the main attractions in Cordoba. But the hotel can arrange taxi's, which they did for our departure to the train station.

Everything is excellent and the team is very professional to take care of every single details for the guests. They are responsive to our needs and any problems. Food is so delicious and worth listing Michelin. The building itself is also a piece of art. The room I reserved was standard room, is not big but spacious and comfortable. Thank you for Lisa and Jose and all their team members for creating such a unique experience for us. We hope that we will be there again in the near future. All the best!

Nothing. The team will arrange pairing with dishes for a unique experience for the guests. Just ask for an option if you don't drink at dinner. .
