The pool is absolutely stunning and so peaceful, feels very exclusive being separate from the rest of the beach club. The hotel rooms are beautiful and felt very luxury. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, we loved the quiet evenings when the daytrippers had left. It felt like paradise!

The food was good but quite expensive for what it was. There was also an issue with non-availability of items at dinner - we ordered 3/4 items each night before we could order something that was available. My suggestion to tackle this issue would be to have a dinner menu separate to the ‘all-day menu’ - my suggestion would be to have the few dishes that are available, written on a board every evening and that way they can be changed daily based on what is available. I’d also recommend guests to request to sit outside to eat dinner, as the default option is eating in an indoors dining room. It’s much nicer to be outside in my opinion! Although it was dark, so it would be nice to get some candles or lighting in the evening around the restaurant area.

Where do we start? Bora Bora beach club was one of the best places we have stayed at. From the moment you step off the boat, you are treated like royalty and the VIP treatment doesn’t end! We initially were meant to stay for 3 nights and loved it so much we extended to 7 days and regret not staying longer! The facilities are amazing, the rooms spacious, bright and well equipped with great air con and a large TV. The bed is very big and so comfy! Nice extra touch with the walk in wardrobe through to the gorgeous bathroom. The breakfast included everyday was lovely, a really nice selection to choose from and delicious coffee too! The pool is for residents only so we had it to ourselves the majority of the time, with the amazing waiters and bartenders on hand whenever you need another cocktail. The beach club has guests from approximately 9am-3pm everyday and then the beach club is solely for the hotel guests. The music was always pleasant and the beach beds are very comfy with gorgeous views of the sea which you can take a dip into when you please. Snorkelling and kayaking equipment are available to borrow the hotel and other day trips available to book through the hotel staff (boat trips, canoe through the lagoons, coral reef snorkelling etc). The restaurant has a lovely menu, from catch of the day to delicious steak and chicken dishes. We nearly made our way through the whole menu in the week and didn’t have a meal we didn’t enjoy! Now I must mention the AMAZING staff. They honestly can’t do enough for you. Jorge the hotel service manager was charming and wonderful and was there for any questions we had and always made sure we were happy. The incredible servers Davide and Yuri always went the extra mile all day everyday for us and made sure we were always fed and watered! The lovely bar staff Anderson, Diego and Enoc were so friendly and made the most amazing cocktails with a smile for us!

Everything, the place is super beautiful, the sea is just out of this world! The staff is amazing, especially Yuri, a very nice guy. There only 6 rooms on the hotel, after 3 pm (time the tours leave) the hotel becomes really intimate and super nice. During the day, there is loud music and beautiful sun. At night, the music is ambient and calm. The food is good and drinks also. The pool area is simply amazing!

No dislikes, just some observations. Two things that one should know but we only discovered when arriving: 1) by booking a room, you get a complementary bed to stay during the day, there’s no need to book a different one 2) the pool area is private for the hotel guests About the transfer, be careful with the boarding ports. We had a bad experience with locals on Barú port. But we complained with the hotel and they changed it to a safer one.

Everything about my stay with the team at Bora Bora was magical and a perfect experience ! From Jorge during the check in process and the room accommodation to Yuri and Javiar who catered to my every imaginable need and request at the beach club. I am so grateful to the team who were professional , attentive, entertaining, and were always one step ahead before I can even ask for anything. The room s were clean and beautiful. The culinary team was fantastic with accommodating meal requests. The vibe was super fun and the music was always the right volume to set the tone for guests to relax and enjoy themselves. I look forward to returning to the property in the very near future

the rooms are very comfortable and clean, service was amazing with really kind and caring staff. there were nice areas to relax around the hotel and the lounge music at dinner time was the perfect way to end the day! we particularly enjoyed the fish at dinner

this is definitely a party hotel from 9am-3pm. we were not necessarily in that mood so it was a bit too loud for us early in the morning. although after 3 when visitors leave back to Cartagena the hotel can be enjoyed peacefully. we also found the rates to be a bit expensive vs value for money.

We had the most magical time for three nights at Bora Bora Beach Club! I almost don't want to tell anyone but this is not just a day trip destination from Cartagena, they actually have 6 rooms on the property steps from the ocean that you can stay overnight. Yes during the day it is a total party spot filled with day trippers looking for a fun island beach day in the Rosario Islands but they arrive and 9am and leave at 3pm everyday, and you come for the party but when you sleepover you also get to experience the tranquility of this beautiful resort. The staff was INCREDIBLE! I mean after just three days there we were on first name basis with Jorge Lopez who is the ultimate gentleman and host. He along with is staff made every step of the way awesome. Special thanks to Manuel, Jose, Jonathan, Damien, Edwin, Grace, Anderson and so many more! Food was great, drinks were phenomenal, rooms were brand new, very clean, had A/C and a great hard pressure and hot shower. You just walk down the steps into the ocean, there is barely a beach you just walk into the majestic Caribbean, I loved that part!

Boat ride to and back can be very rough depending on size of boat and what time you leave.

We stayed 2 nights and it was amazing. The attendants were great, Jhon and Jorge make us feel as home and were focused to be there anytime we need them. The beach is small but really quiet. The food was also good and the room has everything you could need, it even has some streaming platform set up on the TV

Everything about this place is exceptional, the location, the service, the food, THE STAFF! Jorge, Yuri, Luisfer, Diego, Henry, Fernando they made our stay 7 stars, we felt like royalty since the very beginning until the end. This place is an absolute dream and worth every cent you pay, they make the stay unforgettable and I could write for days about how amazing this place is. Private island, absolute dream of a beach, wifi, AC, smart TV, amazing food and drinks, music, tanning beds, snorkeling and paddle surf and a bed where you feel like sleeping on a cloud.

Loved everything about our one night stay! We had two full beach days and it felt like paradise the whole time. The experience exceeded our expectations. The boat ride was nicely organized, the place is beautiful, the facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. A special mention to Yuri who was on top of every detail to ensure we felt like VIP. Loved our room, the pool for hotel guests, the clear blue water beach facing the Caribbean Sea, the breakfast by the pool, the unexpected fancy dinner restaurant, and the food overall especially the empanadas, patacones, and ceviche. Can’t wait to come back!
